Traditional Cambodian Chicken Soup with Sugar Leaves
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion, garlic, and kreung paste until fragrant.
2. Add the chicken and brown lightly.
3. Pour in the broth. Add the fish sauce, sugar, and salt. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Traditional Vietnamese Banana Cake (Banh chuoi )

Banh chuoi is a traditional Vietnamese banana cake, soft and sweet, often made with coconut milk.
In this version, a discreet cannabis infusion is used, with no noticeable taste or smell.

Ingredients:
250 g ripe bananas

120 g brown sugar

200 ml coconut milk

2 eggs

90 g flour

1 tsp baking powder

50 g cannabis-infused coconut oil (see preparation below)

1 pinch of salt

(optional) 1 tsp natural vanilla extract

Preparation of Cannabis-Infused Coconut Oil:
Preheat the oven to 110°C (230°F).

Crumble 2 g of cannabis flowers onto baking paper and bake for 30 minutes to decarboxylate.

Heat 100 ml of coconut oil in a double boiler over low heat. Add the cannabis and a few strips of lemon zest. Let infuse for 2 hours, without boiling.

Strain through a fine cloth. Let cool.

Cake Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F).

Mash the bananas into a puree.

Add the sugar, coconut milk, eggs, infused coconut oil, vanilla, and pinch of salt. Mix well.

Sift the flour with the baking powder and gently fold into the batter.

Pour into a greased or parchment-lined mold.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, checking doneness with a knife blade.

Notes:
The coconut oil infused with lemon zest hides the herbal taste.

The cake keeps for up to 3 days in the fridge.

Weed tincture recipe:

Directions:
1) Mix approx 1oz of decarboxylated* plant material to 750ml of alcohol of your choice**. Make sure to grind or break up stems and small buds
2) Allow mixture to steep depending on the ABV% in a sealable glass (mason jar) or BPA-free plastic container (Bubba). You may want to put the plant matter a cheesecloth to make things easier. However I have found that leaving it loose gives a better end product
2a) 40% alcohol ~ 8 weeks
2b) 50% alcohol ~ 6 weeks
2c) 60%+ alcohol ~ 4-6 weeks
3) Shake or stir mixture every few days to ensure all oils, terpenes and trichomes get fully absorbed/extracted
4) After allowing to steep, strain product into an empty bottle using a funnel. If cheesecloth was used, squeeze as much liquid as possible out. If loose method was used, dump all loose product onto a doubled-up paper towel and strain as much liquid as possible out.

While definitely not the TASTIEST thing out there, it will get you feeling right quickly and for a long time. Be damn sure you do not go over the 1oz/750ml ratio (I did one once with 38g/750ml and it was way too strong, even at half doses)

For a quick high without investing hours, Zaza infused Chai (tea) -
Simmer milk + zaza together for 10 minutes (low flame, don't burn the milk). Add tea leaves and sugar after 10 minutes. Boil for another 2–3 minutes until it gets chai color and smell. Strain and enjoy! Note: Use full-fat milk (better for THC absorption). Stir often so milk doesn’t stick.

As for munchies, try the Peanut Butter Banana Quesadilla -
Take a tortilla. Spread peanut butter. Add banana slices inside. Fold and pan-toast till crispy. Optional: drizzle honey or Nutella on top.
