What's the general opinion on using alts? Obviously, it's not good for users to be setting up alternative accounts just to be a prick to other users or for any scamming purposes. But, I use different accounts for different things for obfiscation/op-sec purposes. Is this bad Dread-iquette or good advice?

I've just posted this comment on another thread so sorry for a double message... I've used alpha/DM and then nightmare but for the last month I can't log into nightmare (site unavailable page). The main link and mirrors posted on nightmare forum get same message. I can see others are logging in, so I don't understand why I still can't? I'm getting really stressed about it all.
