Ace Wash BrainBlast Peruvian : AvengersReborn | Torhoo darknet markets

BrainBlast's Peruvian listing was a great find, especially for the price, it's one of the better ratios currently on Arch.

Potency is good, solvent profile really is not bad, but, wanted to see what kind of improvements could be made using a simple ace wash.

Items & Units of Measure
* Initial Weight: 6g
* Washing Solvent: Technical anhydrous 100% acetone & Labeled Lab Bottle
* Heated magnet stirrer
* 200mL Beaker & Glass Beaker Lid
* Büchner funnel filter and flask
* Medium flow lab filters
* 18" Pyrex baking dish
* 200F 1hr
* 2 x air tight containers
* Silica desiccant color activated beads
* Mango and Citrus Terpenes
* Isopropanol 99%

Methodology
0) Use Isopropanol to wipe down and sterilize lab equipment and desiccant chambers, not necessary, just a habit
1) Hot plate and break down material being washed
2) Add broken down material and magnet to beaker
3) Add Acetone 15mL/g material to beaker, use beaker lid, stir for 5-10 mins
4) Decant into Büchner funnel filter
5) Repeat step 3 & 4
6) Repeat step 3 & 4
7) Remove magnet and let washed material settle to bottom of beaker
8) At this point the remaining acetone should be pretty clear
9) Dump material into Büchner funnel filter and use beaker lid to cover while draining into the flask
10) After the initial acetone drains into the funnel, give the material two more rinses with the lab bottle
11) Remove filtered material, transfer to Pyrex dish, use acetone lab bottle to rinse filter of any remaining material
12) Bake at 200F for 1 hour, until all acetone completely evaporates, scrape and transfer material into desiccant chamber for >24hrs

Results
Final weight: 5.38g
Recapture: 89.7%

Alternate Lab Experiment
One desiccant chamber is odorless, the other has a lab filter folded, which is resting on the desiccant beads with mango and citrus terpenes added to the filter to act like a diffuser and create a flavored lavada of sorts. In theory the washed material should act as a desiccant for the terpenes diffusing within the container, will report back in 48 hours. Also, make sure that the washed material is not touching the desiccant silica beads or the terpenes but still has a gap so that any remaining acetone or moisture can be absorbed by the beads.

Lab Notes
Alternatively, you can just make it less complicated and use simple TEK: solvent wash of your choosing (polarity appropriate), swirl, decant, and place the beaker in front of a space heater until any remaining solvents evaporate.

Conclusion 48 - Hour Update
Post 24 hours, it felt like the acetone was still lingering slightly, and back in the oven it went. New protocol going forward, since Acetone has a boiling point of 135F, after wash and filter, oven curing is now 135F for 4 hours, then 24-48 hour desiccant cure.

Additionally, it was a little difficult to distinguish between the smell of the terpenes/solvent, so after going back into the oven, there was nearly no trace of the terpene smell present.

Not wanting to give up, busted out the 200 % ethyl alcohol/technical grade ethanol and then added 5 drops of the terpenes, unfortunately this is a case of where less is way more. After drying for 2 hours at 135F, the final product was fairly unpalatable.

Moreover, there was an unintentional harm reduction discovery, which could be used by those who want to quit slowly but are having a hard time, or for those who might want to put a governor on their coke. The smell was something reminiscent of one of those hippy tree hugger orange peel oil based cleaners with the addition of green/unripe mango skins vs what a super juicy ripe mango smells and tastes like. This was not the intended smell to say the least, after a few bumps, was over it. Now looking back, skip the citrus based terpenes, the smell is really biting, and at around 1 drop of terpenes per g of material with 15-30mL denatured ethanol is more than ample, dissolved the C-HCL and then let everything evaporate. Started off with 1g and recaptured 0.968g, so not too bad.

Since the smell was too overpowering to enjoy, the material received a secondary Ace wash, as terpenes are soluble in the anhydrous acetone. So repeated the wash protocol, and filtered the material, then baked for another 4 hours at 135F. The final product looks like space or diamond dust, it's really pretty, sparkling and shimmers in the light with a consistency of sugar sand and flour if that makes sense. Typical bump sizes are 25mg - 50 mg of high quality tier 1 perico, the bumps have dropped down to 10-20mg, I made the mistake to take two back to back bullet bumps or 50mg and this was not fun, I realized after the fact that the material is refined and extremely bone dry, so you have to do mini bumps, there is a slight mango odor that is pleasant and the powder insufflates like air almost, it disappears almost instantly. Also, there is no desire to retouch every 15-30 mins, good with 10-20mg/hour.

Told you bro!

Ratio for sure!
First off, you're the man for making this post! Since you mentioned it a few weeks back in comments I have been looking forward to seeing you put something out on this + photos always are great. Got a few questions for you so excuse the mini wall below:

1) I'm a non-science background person, where can I purchase medium flow lab filters? I was going to default to non-bleached coffee filters but rather optimize for better papers if I can.

2) How was the finished product with the terpenes? Did you feel like there was an aftertaste or more just on the scent side? Also looking for recommendations on where I can buy terpenes :)

3) Since most of the evaporated product was on the bottom of the beaker, am I right to assume that you had to scrape the inside to collect the product out? That seems crazy tedious lol, any tips there?

4) I have the same pyrex dishes, I got mine from Costco haha. Do you have a small circle pyrex inside the larger square one? I'm trying to understand from the photos the way you layered the desiccant beads + terpenes + filter.

5) Say hypothetically I wanted to do something similar to this but with Ether, I'd likely want a fume hood since it's a more hazardous material. Have you seen any good DIY fume hood setups?

6) You mentioned before that you would do a guide on recrystalization as well, is that still on the queue? :)

7) The Iso was used to clean the equipment, but the ethyl alcohol was used to evaporate the product with the terepenes. Is that correct?

As always, appreciate you putting out these quality posts. If you intend to answer some of these in anoa fume hood since it's a more hazardous material. Dther post or prefer to talk in DMs, no worries. Have a great weekend!
My pleasure, and I appreciate it.

1) Any major online retailer has most of the items and the lab filters, they are are circular and can be form fitted into a buchner funnel, or you can fold them in half 2 times, then you have a cone filter. These are strong filters almost like construction paper weight, so less likely to rip or fall apart.

2) Did a final write up on the smell, also you can find these again at any major everyday online retailer.

3) The only time I have any issues scraping is when removing the drying tray before 4 hours. After 4 hours, it's pretty easy to scrape into a pile. I might even toy with longer curing periods like 125F for 6-7 hours, then I think you can probably skip the desiccant chamber cure. When you think about it, most jungle labs cure full bricks in a microwave for 3 mins, so I won't overthink it too much lol...

4) Exactly, I use a small pyrex bowl that doesn't touch airtight lid pour desiccant beads around the bowl, then pour the material that needs to be cured into the bowl.

5) You would need to create a negative airflow environment with the fumes being removed a large fan drawing the fumes out could potentially work. My goal is to use the least amount of caustic, heavy metal oxidizers, or solvents that are hydrocarbon based or potentially carcinogenic. Most of the items I try to use are typically considered non-toxic, so an open window and a fan work just fine. If i had to use chloroform or diethyl ether, I would most likely just go outside under some type of awning.

6) I am just waiting on a few more items and I should be able to do the A+B Purification + ace wash, which should purify without stripping out secondary alkaloids here shortly.

7) Yes exactly, cleanliness = godliness... Exactly, the 200proof denatured alcohol is used to infuse and evaporate.

Also, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out, always happy to help.
My guyyyyy, thank you! Got some followups below:

1) Good to know, I'll likely surf the clearnet and put together a cart and share a screenshot later with you to confirm I'm picking out the right items.

2) Thanks I went back up and reviewed your updated findings on the terpenes. Lmao noted on the orange citrus and will aim for something like strawberry or banana (might be weird idk lol). Regarding drying out the acetone: My girlfriend is still weary about curing in the oven, could I buy one of those toaster ovens that have temperature control and dry out the acetone wash in there instead?

3) Noted!

4) Brilliant.

5) Word, I might consider doing something like this as well. I think as I get closer to accumulating all my supplies, I'll likely come back via DMs for more clarity (similar to point #1).

6) Will likely ask for a breakdown on steps on this, which you have generously have in this + previous post. This will also including recrystalization, right? Looking forward all of this!

7) Sick, love it.

Excuse the tediously formatted replies, thanks man--have a great week!!
100% man.

2) yeah, I am sure a dehydrator or toaster oven would work fine. I think 125-135F is the zone, and just let it cure for 4-7 hours, just like you would with a heated vacuum desiccant chamber. Definitely understand most partners don't want any breaking bad vibes in the kitchen lol...

1,3,6) no worries, hit me up whenever, also not a bother, always happy to help.
