My whole thing, from what I have read and seen so far, is that; Chinese or North Korean hackers were DDoSing Archetyp and held it for ransom, then somehow got information about BB and sent that info to the feds. The feds then arrested him with this info.
Is there anyway we could somehow get proof that the Chinese/North Korean hackers sent this to the feds? If so, that would be terrible press, and I imagine the feds would probably back down. I'm not saying Archetyp would come back up, but it would keep a lot of people from going to prison.
If there was a coordinated team, or even uncoordinated team of hackers going after this proof, is there any way they could find it?
Kim Jong Un: Hey feds, we got the goods on BB
Feds: Never mind that. Give us back all the crypto that you stole or we will capsize your warship again.
Reasoning:
I take all the stuff people say about the site being taken down by LE, with all the clues they found and stuff with the straight apostrophe and curved apostrophe, as 100% true, because I have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
The /u/whoisteam person seems to be the one behind the DDoS attacks. They do not seem to be able to type English to well, though it doesn't seem as if they are Indian, it seems as if they are Asian.
Their most recent comment they say: "LEA found his servers, mitigation will take 3 days, we will make sure his servers will be seized again.
Use archetyp and go to prison.
BigBoss, you should have paid." - Which IMO, means they sent anonymous info to the feds and the feds took them down, which correlates with what people are saying about the straight and curved apostrophe stuff
The /u/whoisteam person wrote "I'm a woman, and I don't need drugs to have an orgasm." So I am assuming they are a woman, and a woman hacker in China doesn't seem that likely.
The only other Asian country that would be able to hack at their level would be the North Koreans.
Im new to the dark web though. I'm just happy to be here.
This comes from the same person vending dildos under an alt account whose profile happened to be on Archetyp. She is just mad that her listings were pulled because Archetyp is drugs only and she claims that they are sexist for allowing cialis sales.
Though I've never fully understood why DPRK doesn't just operate a darknet market themselves and profit from it. It's not like they're missing out on any sanctions...
HugBunter - just saw the first problem. And he did the right thing by raising the issue right away. But if after that standard forms of arrests and standard pages are not installed, as they always do - then we can conclude that this is just a scammer - who is counting on falsifying the arrest.
As for the moderators - they will not know anything. They have no information.
I once wrote an article about security breaches, everyone is so relaxed that they forgot where they are and what they are doing - remember this is not the end, everyone who built the markets - thinking that improvements in security breaches are good - will soon be there too. We need to remember the times when administrators cared more about security than design or clearlink links - or the distribution of unique links onion.
Thank you for your time.
Hoping you guys can get around this bullshit quickly. Stay safe. Lot's of love.
