All Systems Go - Market Reopened : Bohemia | Torhoo darknet markets

Following our recent announcement with regards to the situation surrounding the fiasco we had with one of our developers, we have now implemented our plan moving forward.

We have collectively decided that disabling the use of BTC for a short period of time is the best course of action. This is solely to clear the queue of outstanding withdraws and dormant balances with a view to re-enabling BTC as soon as the above has been fulfilled.

All current BTC balances will remain untouched and outstanding withdraws will be cancelled and returned to the users balance. You will now be given the following option on your wallet page:

- To exchange your BTC balance to XMR on site (like for like as per the set fiat currency on their account at the time of exchange) whilst BTC is disabled. For example; if you hold 1 BTC on the platform, you will receive the fiat equivalent in XMR, this balance will then be ready for withdraw / spending.

- If you prefer, you may wait for the re-implementation of BTC and withdraw their BTC balance when this happens.

-----------------------------------------

PLEASE NOTE:

- Users are permitted 2 exchanges from BTC to XMR per day (minimum exchange of 0.0001 BTC).

- Withdraws exceeding 30 XMR will require manual approval (approval system implemented for senior staff to process manual withdraws quickly and efficiently).

- Each user is permitted a maximum of 3 withdraws per day.

- Any unsettled disputes for which are finalized from this point onwards will be credited to the awarded parties balance in XMR (regardless if the dispute was initially paid for using BTC - it will be instantly exchanged on site and credited accordingly).

- All listings which solely accept BTC as a payment method have now been disabled (vendors may re-enable those listings by editing the listing in question and selecting XMR as the available payment option).

- All listings with the BTC and XMR payment options available have now been changed to XMR only.

We understand that this may not be ideal for many users, but this is the best course of action moving forward to mitigate the situation at hand. BTC will be re-implemented in the near future.

Instead of asking people to hire you, go and do bug bounty's, we offer a bug bounty at /d/PrimeMarket

I'll definitely check this out. I made a lot of money before working with teams doing net-locking.
Just curious—what's the payout for the market's bounties?

No offense to you of course but Bug Bounties don't pay enough. Dark market bounties are much higher from what I've seen. But the standard bounties out there, they're a slap in the face.
I know first hand that it's possible to make a lot more money using the bug. Either as exported datasets or providing API access to some service/data. There's a time and place for bounties but they're not lucrative enough versus gray and blackhat uses or potential. At least not for most things.

For a particular chat app, they offered $100 for a bounty on two bugs that were reported. They fixed one. We used the other one to provide data to people. $60/week for access to our tool. We had a dozen people limit and hit that quickly. We made multiple thousands and disappeared. They eventually changed some things and patched some things. This was some years ago so maybe things have drastically improved. From what I see, people are more willing to give up their bugs for any bounty to get on the list of bug-finders instead of making more money thinking outside of the box.

I am grateful that you and other markets offer real bounty money, we need safety and security
