I asked already about this but with mdma and got a couple of answers to not take it or to inform my doctor but i figured that maybe amphetamine i better so is it safe or can it disturb to take speed 4 days before doing surgery its a short procedure of 10 minutes max so i figured its not that important. Dunno about Meth specifically but I've taken Ritalin the day before a ~45 min general anesthetic two different times. Did not inform anybody. No issues either time.

After four days of taking MDMA there is no problem (neither with local nor general anaesthetics of any kind). At the pharmacological level the combination is safe. On the other hand, urine drug tests do not make any sense in a surgical protocol
. The only precaution may have more to do with extra-pharmacological factors. For some people the MDMA hangover is particularly complex (sadness, bad mood, depressive symptoms...). 4 days should be enough time to recover, but some people may be susceptible to this effect.
