ARCH DEPOSIT ADDRESSES COMPROMISED : Archetyp | Torhoo darknet markets

It would appear that all the deposit addresses for users have been compromised and reported to the crypto swap companies and the blockchain. I have always bought bitcoin, then sent it to a non kyc wallet, swapped it, and sent to Arch wallet. Well today I went to swap some currency and it failed and told me to contact them. I reached out via anonymous email provided order id and they responded that I needed to contact their security team to fulfill necessary "KYC" guidelines. If you know what KYC then i'm sure you can guess that I WILL NOT be fulfilling their request and that i've already chalked that money up to being gone and the wallet burnt. Luckily I have never used KYC wallets but it would seem that somehow the deposit addresses for Arch have been reported that's the only explanation because i've used this wallet for a LONG TIME and never had an issue or anythig of this sort. Just be safe

And the next retard post on this high IQ platform.

Archetyp used integrated wallet addresses. All addresses looked the same except a suffix that would be specific to your account.
Exchanges knew about the addresses right from the beginning.

You twats throw around a few words like "suffix" and "platform" and think you are just internet geniuses. I've been doing this for quite some time. I've forgotten more than you know. Kick rocks
He explained it reasonably well.
I think this is coincidental.

Relax. :)

Man, accept the new knowledge and be thankful. There is no need to throw away conspiracies out just because you lack the understanding of how the underlying technology works. Archetyp just pre-seeded their XMR wallets, so it was easy to flag any transfer that would end up in the market, as simple as that. But the "wallets compromised" thingie doesn't make any sense. Chill.

This doesn't mean Archtyp wallets are compromised, this could just be the exchange doing a KYC check. Centralized exchanges have KYC/AML check in place always. Use decentralized exchanges and always read the terms of service.

If you changed Bitcoin into Monero and moved it from a wallet on your computer, that is just chance because no one can find out where you sent the Monero.

Wondering which swap service you used which triggered this. Would be useful for determining which to keep in mind to avoid if they decide to KYC swaps.

This is not possible. As soon as you send the XMR, anything about its history no longer exists. They can't find out where it came from, at all.

This isn't BTC bro lol

Maybe read the post again and focus on the word deposit.

They're too much in a hurry to write what they think is the next wittiest gotcha comment! All these internet geniuses act like they're the only ones who have been doing this "Dark Web" thing for years, hell decades. I don't waste my time with them I just do my part to try and warn and then laugh 2 weeks later when the smart asses are like "idk what happened but I lost a lot of money " :-D
