Yeah me too!!! Dark Matter was my 1st choices after ASAP shutdown. It should definitely start getting busier on that market soon. That was my only complaint for DM, not enough action.

Its up, I am on it now. With the increase of traffic on the market, it could be harder to connect once in a while, so just refresh page and get a new tor identity and try again. I'm sure they will fix the issue very soon.

Register new account and then apply for vendor. If you were a vendor on Arch and or other markets and can show proof that you are and that your in good standings there, then you should be able to get the vendor fee waived!

Not if the vendor has accepted the order already. If not, you should just cancel it. If the vendor did accept and processes the order, you can expect them to receive the extra amount when the order is finalized.

Make sure to check the sidebar status as well as the pinned posts in the sub. We are being ddosed and you should access via your private link. If you dont have a private link yet, you'll need to keep trying the public links.

Ddos is a temporary annoyance but Dark Matter is forever.

Under DDOS attack. It makes it difficult to login to the market during the attack. But if u keep trying and refreshing and requesting new identity on Tor, then u should be able to logon eventually! 🙂

It's concerning, when buyers need to raise a dispute before the time runs out and can't get on (I managed to do so with 7 hours to spare yesterday but haven't been able to get on today). (I like the market in general I should say, well designed, and good to have no wallets).

Every market gets DOS attacked, No telling when it might happen or how long it will last. But its very common, and nothing to worry about, in the regard of "having same issues as Arch".
Next time you are able to log in be sure to get a private mirror. Save and bookmark the link and use it every time to log in on Dark Matter. That will end your DDOS login issues. Ive always used the same private mirror for a long time and I never have login issues. I didn't even know there was a DDOS attack going on until i read about all this!
They should have the attack under control soon but, in the mean time just keep trying the market mirrors and refreshing and resting Tor identity until your able to access market! 🙂 CHEERS MATE!!!!!! 🙂

I don't want to come across as a pain in the neck, but I really think that if DarkMatter were a little more aesthetically pleasing, it could compete with Abacus.
Personally, that's what put me off the most in this market. It's all a matter of taste. Mind you, I'm not denigrating, I'm just giving my personal opinion.

Thats called an anonymous order. You need to save the PGP signed proof of order which contains an anonymous order URL and PIN to access it. If you didnt save that, you cant access it.

The issue is.....What do I do then with that info? It's all good having it, but not knowing what to do with it is.........
Do I contact the vendor directly with said info? OR do I contact support via the darkmatter onion with the info? Feels like it could've been mentioned to me in your reply above, if not the ticket I submitted via the site in which I still received a fairy vague and similar answer.

I'm trying my hardest to not create more issues than I have to, but I'm given very little info. Remember; I'm new to this onion, and haven't ever been involved in a process like this. It's usually forced to register, then order, then that's that - all proof is there.

I've tried ten ways to Tuesday, but DarkMatter will not accept my public pgp key. It keeps saying "Not a valid PGP public key."

I followed the guide to the letter, and created a new key pair- even though I'm already familiar with pgp, to see if I was overlooking something.

I got the links from the right- Daunt dot link, Tor dot Taxi, and the primary mirror- and pgp verified the links with DarkMatter's key I got from the top of this page. FAQ says it's because I was on a phishing site- but if that's the case, it happened a half a dozen times, each with new Tor identities, and all from links I got in the prescribed places and that were pgp verified.

Any suggestions?
