Yeah, I already deleted the link from my list. I'm just surprised by how sophisticated that phishing mirror was. I mean, the fact that my posts from there ended up appearing here... whoever set it up really put a lot of work into it.
It's a good question but phishing mirrors can relay your actions back to the real site.
They act like a middleman: they forward your requests (like login, comments, posts) to the real Dread, then show you the responses. So yes, you might be able to log in, decrypt PGP, post, and even comment but your login credentials and messages are being intercepted in the process.
Dread only has 3 official links 2 for public users, 1 for premium.
It was a phishing mirror, a very sophisticated one. All my posts and comments there ended up here. I decrypt the pgp message in order to access my account.
new users rarely understand context and even seeing a phishing link posted with a warning some will fall for it
please only get dread links from /page/canary or daunt.link
