Are K-9 units trained to sniff out RC's? : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets
I would think that typical k-9 units are trained to sniff out your major mainstream drugs, but I find it unlikely that they can be trained on everything, especially with more obscure RC's that can pop up on any given day. Any thoughts on this matter?
Nah, sniffer dogs are also another hollywood-esque claim, in reality they fail to detect anything besides marihuana: https www.smh.com.au/environment/conservation/sniffer-dogs-get-it-wrong-four-out-of-five-times-20111211-1oprv.html

Most K-9s are trained to catch the usual suspects—weed, coke, heroin, meth—but RCs (Research Chemicals) are a different beast. Since RCs keep changing and evolving, it’s tough to train dogs on every new compound, especially the obscure ones that pop up outta nowhere. So yeah, unless it’s a popular RC that’s been around for a bit, those pups probably won’t catch it. But hey, never underestimate their power
they are still trained to catch heroin huh really i thought they would be trained more to catch fentanyl since heroin is almost non existant now a days
