Unfortunately, a buyer has already fallen victim to this scam.

All buyers are urged to verify that the .onion address they are accessing is the correct one.

Vendors, if you have not done so already, please sign your shop's .onion address with your PGP key to enable buyers to verify its authenticity.

Additionally, there is a false mirror of Dread that, when accessed, will replace all .onion URLs with illegitimate ones. Therefore, everyone should verify that the Dread mirror they are accessing is legitimate. Otherwise, any .onion links you see on Dread may not be the actual links.
(Including this because it looks like the buyer who has contacted me, has also fell victim to this)
