March 2025 update: /u/oxytop never resolved the situation.

I was scammed. Never assume a trusted vendor will make it right.
Always dispute. It's the last tool you have to protect yourself.

Sorry everyone: I cannot make a recommendation or referral to a different seller. The point of this post was to share my experience and identify a scammer. Pointing to an alternative seller would feel sorta like shill behavior.

Hi: I am having the same problem with oxytop...accepted order - order was escrowed, but he never processed it, so I disputed it. Currently I am waiting for a response from Support. Questions: what market were you using when you made your initial order with oxytop and he ripped you? Did you dispute it, or did he just respond that he would issue a refund that never came?

If you're reading this message: Oxytop scammed me, then lied about sending a refund.

I will update this message if/when I receive a refund.

It's now Christmas Eve 2024. It has been ~a week since /u/oxytop said he'd give a refund. I replied with the refund address but he never sent the refund or acknowledged my message.

I'm sure some people are ordering from /u/oxytop successfully, but if you haven't placed an order, think twice. As always, don't spend any money you aren't willling to lose, and never let the escrow timer finalize before you have your order.

you weren’t wrong, your situation IS pretty similar to mine.
however, i’m always worried about calling out vendors, which sucks for legimitate buyers because we are the ones giving up sensitive information.
i’m sure the person who never sent my pack is a legitimate vendor, there’s no doubt that he’s not just a scammer.. but i just seem to be the very rare unlucky one to hsve this type of experience..
i’ll wait until he’s off vacation i guess but 2+ months is really pushing it

Since then, radio silence. Don't make the mistake I did. How many times you're willing to extend the FE timer for a vendor who has good reviews up to you, but if in doubt, dispute the order.

So when did the order actually finalize? It's not clear from your post.

USPS has been pretty fucked due to the holidays, so depending on when "early December" was, it could very well still be enroute and normal delays for this time of year.

And when was your last message(s) to them? Just curious because Oxytop has been around a looong time and has a pretty solid reputation. Their prices are high (and haven't really stayed competitive with the pharma oxy market) but they've always seemed to be reputable and in it for the long haul.

The order was placed before Halloween and finalized mid-November. I reached out many times in all, but the one and only reply I had ever gotten was December 2nd or so.

~10 USPS business days, I'd say that's an abnormal delay for the service I paid for. However, I truly don't have any bones to pick with USPS and never did. There's still no evidence anything was ever shipped in the first place. Questions like, "Can you share the tracking number" were never acknowledged, so when I replied to that December 2nd message I asked for the original tracking "so I can understand what happened to the first shipment" and told him a refund would be better than shipping a new order. My message was ~2 weeks ago.

Shortly after I created this post, Oxytop finally replied, likely thanks to this post's viz. No tracking or answers from him, but he did ask where I wanted a refund sent. I sent the address yesterday but am still awaiting that refund/answers. To recap, I've gotten two messages from the vendor since the order was placed (before Halloween): #1 was the December message stating he'd finally ship the order, #2 was mid/late December stating he'd send a refund.

Update: it has now been ~a week since /u/oxytop said he'd give a refund. I replied with the refund address but he never sent the refund or acknowledged my message.

Should have disputed the order, without a doubt. I'm hoping someone reads the post and learns from my mistake: dispute the order if you didn't receive it when you were supposed to. Maybe modulate that "when you were supposed to" threshold based on how trusted a vendor is, but never let it finalize before delivery.

FE can't be extended. Only escrow can and the answer is three times and if a vendor has such a policy by all means message him but also extend AF and if still not resolved after second extension open support ticket and extend a third time.

It is all about balance. Allow the vendor to respond but if he does not do so in timely manner then time for support ticket.
