An update to why it may have happened:

I did some research on it and my hunch that shrooms messed up with my reptilian brain was somewhat right.

I seem to have some neurological deficits in the basal ganglia part of the brain(hence ADHD, OCD diagnoses and predisposition to addiction). The semi-voluntary movements I described are a result of low output from basal ganglia to thalamus and other parts. This makes you hyperkinetic and you start to dance or do crazy shit like crawling because your motor function is impaired. Deficits in the basal ganglia has been well studied and it's the cause of many movements disorders such as Tics, Parkinson's, Dystonia etc. Apart from motor control, basal ganglia also has a big role in reward functions, emotions regulation and executive functions. This is why deficits in this area is related to neuro-developmental and behavior disorders such as ADHD and OCD. Basal ganglia is a marble-ball size reptilian brain which takes signals from upper parts of the brain and then either accepts or rejects them and then forwards them to thalamus to create normal motor functioning in our day to day life such as grabbing an object with fingers without using whole arm muscles to be activated in the task.

Impairments in outputs from this part of brain means brain parts that are responsible for sending direct motor signals to our body muscles are confused and they send false signals to move every muscle in the body. In some people, the complete opposite happens. Mushrooms alter their neurochemistry in a way that basal ganglia has much more output than it received from higher brain parts such as prefrontal cortex. This results in people being unable to move while tripping.

I looked up a lot for similar experiences and there aren't enough psilocybin studies done to have such findings. Psilocybin research is very limited and I hope institutes get more funding to learn more about how this compound affects brain.

I now vaguely understand what might have happened in my brain that caused the movements I experienced but why reptile movements? It could just exacerbate my ADHD symptoms and make me more hyperactive/distracted or make me dance. But I behaved like a reptile and I'm not sure whether its due to my brain sending primitive movement signals to my body parts or if it's just random noise in motor signals that created such experience. It's mindblowing regardless.
