bridge questions : Tor | Torhoo darknet markets

i looked through the subdread and could not find the answer to my question.

so apologies if this has been asked before.

im a newbie to tor and always utilize a tor bridge when seaching the dark net. the reason i do this is because ive heard using a tor bridge prevents your isp identifying that u are using tor.

is this true? and are there any other benefits to using a bridge? i know it circumvents potential censorship if you live in a region where tor is prohibited. just curious if theyre other inherent benefits of using a bridge

thank you kind people in advance

Search the net for:
  • IT security
  • Linux hardening
  • App armor tricks and tips
  • Linux firewalls
  • Network tunneling
  • Threat modeling
  • ...

There are tons of links that provide useful information.
You can also read the DNM Vendors bible, it contains a long chapter about OpSec mistakes which are valid even if you have nothing to do with drugs.
