So this buyer opens a dispute with me. Totally warranted. Product hadn't been shipped for reasons and I quickly accepted his request for a 100% refund of the order. And due to how AB's dispute system works, an admin has to view the dispute and process the refund. And it took them 2 whole entire fucking months to do it. So the buyer is naturally upset about this. All along I had assured him he was gonna get paid, one way or another, and I even offered to pay what he lost in market volatility while we waited. But 2 whole months go by and he's finally refunded. And so naturally this brainlet buyer decides that I deserve 1 star across the board. For something the Admin did. "Walt never sent product since he quit vending (again) while my order was in processing (after he accepted it). Escrow was held up in AB for two+ months. Walt said he would refund but when he came back to vending (again) he didn't hold up his word, nor ever sent product. Terrible experience.
I couldn't send him the product because I had already agreed to the refund. Had I done so, I would've been out for double the cost of the order.
I have no doubt in my mind, had the issue been resolved in a timely manner, the buyer would've moved on and not left a review at all.
This is on you guys. Please fix your mistake. This is clearly a false review and any market worth a damn removes those. Vice City mods removed a somewhat similar review (fake) for me. It's a thing.
I don't know what pisses me off more. The fact that I'm being blamed, and my business will suffer, because of something that's not my fault. Or the fact that someone as stupid as this fucking buyer even exists.
I know I sound like a whiny bitch in this post, and that's because I am a whiny bitch. Getting a negative review for something you did do is one thing, but for something you had no control over (this, customer ordering on christmas day and upset it's not there by the time brunch is over and the presents are being opened)... it makes me irrationally angry.
Also, what is up with the rating system? I have 3 negative reviews out of 117 total (all shipping related surrounding 1 event. none about the actual product, it's great). Yet my overall scores are "4.6, 4.66.4.61,). But when you do 3 divided by 117, you get 2.5%, yet my overall score is 94% not 97.5%. And 97.5% of 500 is 487.5, so my overall rating should be 4.88.
Anyway, pretty sick guys. Appreciate it.
For the rating system - it is getting a small update in the algorithm in the next 48 hours so it might fix what you describe. Also do note that the rating is for the last 12 months only.

I am becoming more frustrated each day that goes by because those missing funds are very important to my business since I am a small time vendor.
Please understand I love and support AB and I love being a Vendor on the platform. I am a trusted MOD on the CafeDread sub-dread and I have respect for other MODS and I am not trying to stir up trouble. I just really need my missing funds back ASAP.
