I agree, it has a identify crisis of being mainstream and full of features but also secure with a heap of potential flaws. I don't use other than the few times because the quick swap feature seems convenient but there's plenty for it to work on. I wouldn't mind basicswap but it seems like a pain in the ass from what i read.

Cake wallet is easy as fuck. Create a new xmr wallet. Create a multi currency wallet. deposit coin of choice to multi currency wallet. exchange to xmr and transfer to market.
