I would assume you need very advanced testing of receptors and chemical biopathways, studying closely how they up regulate or down regulate against different triggers.

I wont lie im no where near qualified to give a real response but I will say I have had epilepsy since I was 8 and ive never had a seizure from any psychedelics no matter the dose. That still doesnt mean they cant happen since they do lower seizure threshold but I think if you are at least on your medication it would be fine at least has been always for me

I have literally the same problem. I got diagnosed a few months ago with epilepsy and I take the same medicine as you and I want to try mushrooms in december, but I don't know I don't want to risk too. I would be really grateful if someone could help us. Btw I don't think that we would die if take any amount of mushrooms, but yea we can definitely have an epilepsy shock if it's bad for us.

ask yourself if 1. tripping on shrooms is worth potentially dying over and 2. how you're gonna remain calm the entire time and not have a horrible trip thinking youre about to have a seizure and die because your heart feels a little funny and breathing feels weird all of a sudden. I personally would freak the fuck out.

From a very brief google, there is a recent paper looking at psychedelics and epilepsy. Not the lightest of reads, but worth doing if this is a concern for you.
