There is a lot of information on dread. See /d/opsec and /d/monero as well as the buyer bible (add /bible.zip after .onion in the dread url).

you cant just come from the CN and order like its Amazon or shopify ,take some time to learn a few basic rules and OPSEC then learn about markets and vendors and coins then maybe lastly learn about ordering and receiving .if not ....you wont last

You just have to deposit coins and place an order bro. The main thing you need to be careful about is not falling victim to phishing but also read the dnbible.

The path is paved for you already read everything DNMNoobs, OpSec, and the Guides sub dreads and if you can get the buyers bible working read that too. Dont send coins directly from ur binance or cashapp or whatever directly to the markets, and LEARN PGP.

ordering is the easy part once you figure out the basics like PGP encryption. i buy coins on an established exchange with my debit card or bank account then send those coins to a private wallet. then use a no kyc exchange like infinity exchanger you can find on the daunt link in the sidebar. once you get your coins exchanged for XMR and in your private wallet your ready to send to a market. make sure you are on an established mirror to the market so you don't get phished and lose your coins again use mirrors from the daunt link in the sidebar. once you sent your XMR to a market wait for it to confirm enough times and your market wallet should reflect the coins you sent this could take sometime. then you are ready to order.

find a vendor you want to purchase from and copy their public PGP key from their profile and import into your PGP keychain system ( kleopatra etc.. ) encrypt your address and name with the vendors PGP key so only they can decrypt it, then place your order and copy your encrypted address into the information window when ordering your product. now wait for the vendor to accept your order. it usually takes anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days and then wait for your package to arrive after they mark your order shipped. make sure you upload your public PGP key to your market profile in case the vendor needs to message you for some reason. most the time i don't need to communicate with the vendor at all just select the product in the amount you want and put your PGP encrypted address in the info window. once you receive your order test it and log back into the market and release the coins to your vendor and make a review.

some things to consider is that you should buy more coins than you need because there can be transfer fees etc... i think litecoin to xmr has the cheapest fees. also remember to have enough extra for the shipping because that is sometimes not included in the vendors store. its not until you purchase that the shipping is added to your fee. once you have your coins in the market wallet they should be deducted for whatever purchase you make. choose vendors that offer escrow first so you don't get scammed although i have used FE ( finalize early ) vendors in the past without having any problems. usually established vendors can have the FE options. then once you have made your order you can transfer your left over coins back into your private wallet because a market can get seized or exit scam and you don't want to lose your coins.

you've got a lot to learn mate...

here's a list of stuff/people/skills you'll need:
- good opsec
- very good knowledge of your country's/continent's postal system
- a solid understanding of linux, networking, cryptography (especially pgp encryption), tor, etc.
- (in basically every country nowdays, you'll also need) either an option to get enough kyc-free crypto (eg. earning your own on the dw) or so. who can provide you with crypto for a fungible medium of exchange (eg. buying crypto from a vendor or financial scammer/money launderer for cash)
- a 6th sense for scams
- a clean kinda "dn-workflow"
- expertise on the product/service you're buying
- good research skills or a trusted dn-veteran to guide you
- a good amount of caution
- the great urge to learn and explore
- to master the high art of "not being an idiot"
- at last: very good opsec

now that might be a bit of an exaggeration, in case you only wanted to buy like a few grams of molly and some prescription meds for personal use, but you'd really rather have an overkill setup than one that get's le. on your heels in this case.

anyway, if you're just ordering amounts that are considered for personal use in your legislation, just having the basics of that list will probably be enough. you can also just learn by doing, like don't do anything, that could get you arrested, but just start getting active on some forums and check out different vendors in your area for theit legitimacy.

just give it some weeks-months and you'll be ready to place your first order without getting scammed or busted

I believe in ya pal

First you need XMR and here's a post to help with that: /post/503b096885a779162717

After you get XMR, find your favorite markets found here: /d/superlist (We recommend Abacus and DrugHub ;))

Create an account then follow the directions. (Read everything!) Deposit XMR into your Market Account. Then make your purchase!

Hope this helps! <3

Better to leran this yourself, so you know what you're doing. Read the bible Sam referred you to, as well as the tutorials in /d/pgppractice if you need it. Asking other people to tutor you just opens you up to being scammed, imo.

You have to convert some of your nation's currency to the appropriate amount required in Monero (XMR). To do this, you will need a digital wallet to hold, send and receive the XMR. Cake wallet is fine for this. How you acquire XMR will depend on your tolerance for risk and your desire for anonymity. Higher tolerance, no anonymity- use an exchange like Kraken. Average tolerance- an onramper in cake wallet will suffice. Low tolerance- p2p or some other way that that doesn't give a shit who you are. There will be fees- the amount depends on how you acquire the XMR

You will need to learn to use PGP- software to encrypt your address to the vendor using their public key, and to decrypt, with your private key, any messages sent to you, that were encrypted with your public key. There are many good tutorials on Dread that will even allow you to practice.

You'll just have to keep reading until you understand and are comfortable with what you're doing.

Can you give a brief step-by-step in using Cake Wallet to convert BTC to XMR?

Sure. Do you have it installed? I mean, are you looking at it?

After, you can send me your coins to make sure you know how to do it.

I'm kidding.

Hehe. And yes I have it installed and am looking at it :) Is it as simple as using the "Swap" screen and specifying BTC > XMR (assuming my BTC is already in Cake) and I have an XMR wallet aleady created in Cake as well?

Any tips or suggestions you can provide are greatly appreciated!
