Can someone shed some light on this: "Defeats advanced Wi-Fi device tracking [64] [65]: NO" : OpSec | Torhoo darknet markets
Taken from Whonix comparison table of Tails Tor Whonix and Qubes (https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Comparison_with_Others)
It says none of these OS/apps defeat advanced Wifi device tracking.
The citations ([64] [65]) say:
[64] : Why MAC Address Randomization is not Enough:An Analysis of Wi-Fi Network Discovery Mechanisms
[65] : A Passive Technique for Fingerprinting Wireless Devices with Wired-side Observation
So what's going on here? What are the OpSec implications?
