Unfortunately its seeming more and more likely this could be the case, it just does not seem right to me to delete or moderate concerned customers questions, I've seen a moderator posted a comment about 14 or so hours ago saying they are working on login/deposit issues, if that was acctually the case then surely we would hear something, it's unfortunate but it happens, would be such a shame to see both archetype and abacus go down in the same month.

it does not take 24 hours, once its confirmed on the blockchain or XMR gets 10 confirmations it shows up. its never takes ANYWHERE NEAR. 24 hours for me. AT MOST 1.5-2 hours.

My deposit took 18 hours and posted this morning. Their system is being over run by all the new traffic they were not expecting. I would say they will be up in no time. The more prople try the harder it will be.

At this point /u/JackTheRabbit just use a different market no need to get attached to an market based on emotion or because you like it. Plenty of other markets the same vendor is most likely on. Move on and be safe and I just wouldn't risk it. Wasn't even that great of a market. Also be weary of vendors being paid to say everything's ok. This is a trend that happens when one goes down. Again could be wrong but the amount of time it's been up I would just avoid regardless. They earned trust coming back before from tech issues but now it's just enivitable that they prob won't weather the store and if they do. Be skeptical

I'm more than willing to use another site, it's just frustrating when things like this happen ,it's inevitable in the end I know still slightly annoying, if I do manage to log in though I think course of action will be to withdraw and migrate, as this isn't the first time abacus has been less than helpful during an outage.

Yea and usually if they have an "issue" and it's fixed that helps with the trust before they dip even if it was a year or a year and a half ago. Cant remember exactly but I know the instance you're mentioning. Sucks because some vendors wait to see where the dust settles cause sometimes one or two do it at the same time especially after a bust as big as Archetype

If you read my original post I do reference this post from sonny, however 14 hours is a substantial amount of time considering the level of business carried out on the platform, for them to not even update in over half a day is starting to seem a bit suspect, I'm not pointing fingers or accusing anything, at this point I'm just voicing how it seems to myself and most likely the wider community.

It could very well be what it seems, you just need to not get to invested in a single market, no doubt your usual vendors will be on multiple markets. If DNM's have taught me anything over the course of vending on them is expect the unexpected and don't invest so much into a single one.

I am a buyer, used my private link accessed the market no problem and made a small $20 XMR withdrawl from my account last night which did show up this morning about 8-10 hours later.

If you recall DM had withdraw and deposit issues not to long ago albeit they addressed the issue quickly.

From my personal experience i do not believe this is an exit. Be patient and given them time. Once way or another we will know shortly until then be cautious

Made 2 orders 10 days ago from 2 different vendors and I still didn't received anything (small amount of money so I dont really care).
It became harder and harder to login this last week, and now there isnt any link working, timed out instantly or not found. I got last version of Tor and tried multiple times, new id, etc.. still nothing works.

I really hope it's not an exit but for now everything seems to point to one.

Update

I managed to log in about an hour ago and my transaction was confirmed and I placed an order, hopefully this means the issue is resolved across the board, will update this post in a couple days Incase anything else happens, for some saying we should have been patient and where spreading "FUD", asking a moderation team to keep people updated regarding missing funds is basic customer service for any kind of website, thank you to the moderation team for resolving the issues and a updating the community.

no it doesn't, too many people were allowed to withdrawl their funds, too many vendors for that matter, the people with the REAL $$. if the vendors links stayed open LONGER than the public links, which is what happened, that's not an exit scam, in fact, it was the mods way of letting everyone know its all cool. Stop gaslighting yourself and everyone else
