Competent answer to the question "Why DNM is not experimenting with clearnet marketing?" : CafeDread | Torhoo darknet markets
I live in a goddamn timeline where DNMs are heavily promoted on clearnet.
And I will give 3 relevant examples of clearnet advertising of marketplaces, how positive or negative they are - judge for yourself.
1. Offline promotion with transportation billing. KRAKEN Marketplace: (not direct clearnet adv)
“Ford Transit” with a drug store advertisement on foot (!) Arbat was parked at about 21:40, in the evening of March 22. Just at the moment when all public attention was focused on the events at Crocus.
“Gazelle” was a repainted, black Ford Transit on which there was a QR code leading to the mirror of the site and a sticker with the name and logo of the marketplace ‘KRAKEN’ itself.
There were speakers on the roof of the Ford, which hummed a song with catchy and acting on the psyche rhythm, the words in the song were:
KRAKEN is a modern day darknet marketplace where you'll find everything: from flavored buds, to white powder, ......, weekly lottery and much more. TOR only.
On the day of the terrorist attack in Crocus. Evaluate for yourself how fucked up the audience is.
2. "М О Р И А Р Т И" Youtube-channel:
Channel with 3 million subscribers, where the mascot of the marketplace ///MEGA (he appears as the owner of the marketplace Moriarty) tells stories in the spirit of “How to launder 40 billion rubles” and ending with videos on theological topics.
And yes, the red thread of many stories is
“HYDRA is very bad, and we are very good”.
The description of the video earlier led to a Telegram channel, which had direct links to the marketplace. After the first ban, the management of the PR department of ///MEGA caught on and now does not advertise so aggressively.
The effect is obvious: every second schoolchild knows about the existence of darknet marketplaces, but is this traffic what the ///MEGA team wanted? Anyway, this marketplace is the most media-promoted one.
3. BlackSprut and Instagram
More than once or twice BlackSprut has organized successful PR campaigns at the expense of overly gullible (or self-serving) celebrities. This time, under the guise of a certain Sprut Radio, the marketplace managed to place a link in the stories of the ex-participant of “House-2” Roman Kapkan, as well as three Russian performers: a total of 12 million people are subscribed to their Instagram accounts.
On the news itself, I can easily provide proofs - but I think it all sounds so fantastic to the average Darknet user that it simply can't be made up.
Marketplaces of this rank go to the clearnet because the entire online advertising market is pretty much divided and quite expensive.
It's like this.

Notice the low key shilling? I'd like to think most of the Dread users have ignored it for that exact reason.
A lot of traffic comes from clearnet and all markets and other darknet services utilize it. The examples OP posted are great for case study proof in case anyone genuinely asks in future.
