What is the best advice you could offer to individuals who are new or inexperienced in the scene? This could relate to OPSEC or harm reduction.

For the opsec questions

first of all take it slow, all that info can be overwhelming and get privacy fatigue
- Read up on the basics such as the most private crypto, the best VPN, and so on you get the idea.
- Watch some videos on privacy/opsec if reading is too much.
- Just being on dread too on /d/opsec /d/privacy and read upon the opsec wiki /d/OpSec/wiki?id=ea7f4385
- Research whatever you are worried about privacy wise.
- Remember to breathe most likely you are just paranoid from all the stuff you have heard about this and that tracking you, etc.

As for the harm reduction efforts

- If you can, test your drugs in a lab such as Kykeon or EC (Energy Control International) https://www.reddit.com/r/ReagentTesting/wiki/labs/
If that's too expensive, that Reddit list shows countries where it's free and how much it costs. If you can't for whatever reason, at least use a reagent test kit.
- Never get crossfaded, aka mixing drugs.
- NEVER DRINK ALCOHOL when doing drugs, mixed 98% of drugs out there it will fuck you up.
- In my opinion, with heavy harder drugs, especially if you are a first-timer, do it around people so they can help if anything happens.
- Start slow, then go bigger if you want to, because once you take it, that's the point of no return.
- When doing opioids, always have Narcan.
- Buy from a trusted vendor if it's on the DN.
- If you don't know what it is, then don't take it.

Ask yourself, why am I in the darknet?
If you can manage to research into whatever you're into, lurk into community/subdread and read current trends you'll be okay. Learn PGP encryption for basic ordering. Research your countries crypto cash in methods and find a way to anonymize it and circumvent KYC if you can. Don't hasten. Find a good vendor/contact and build a reputation as a good client/customer. Darknet can't be your full time shit but its still here for us. Be safe and use your common sense.

An important OpSec advice that I don't see no one comment, it about it's never use your devices to be unlock by your fingerprint or face.

Consider how a normal mail transaction would go, and emulate this to the best of your ability.

In that sense, don't order packages with fake names attached.
Dont order packages to abandoned homes or places which don't belong to you.
Don't act weird around the delivery man.

Dont trust people here, verify their claims. Verify verify verify.

Reviews, linguistic analysis, and general common sense get you a long way. If something is too good to be true, it is likely not true!

If someone is unwilling to publicly post something, IE if someone wants to give you an offer but will only discuss basic details in DM, they are likely a scammer. A vendor will openly state what they have and what it will run you, whereas a scammer wants you alone in DM so no one else can warn you.

You can use linguistic analysis to detect BS reviews, also. Particularly on markets, if every review has similar grammatical habits or just have a weird vibe, you should use extra caution.

As for the best opsec, I will say that Untitlist and RushRush both demonstrate some of the best domestic stealth I have ever observed, and this should be the standard. Similarly with harm reduction, the products being unadulterated decreases the chance of injury.

Some great advice on the other comments. Since I don't have time to write an essay I'll keep it simple:

Take your time. Having a clear mind and understanding exactly what you're getting into (wether it's buying from a DNM for the 1st/100th time or deciding how to invest) will save you from a lot of potential blunders. Usually the only thing pushing you to be hasty in making a descision is FOMO or being bored/ excited. I have never regretted taking an extra day to consider and do some extra research. Practice your hobby, go to the gym, go out with friends.. Doing that will probably clear your head and help in any situation.

You make mistakes when you move too fast. Taking your time will save you from OPSEC mistakes and poor financial descisions alike.

No one is your friend and everyone is trying to make money.

Read and suck up as much knowledge on what you want to do before doing it (Read The Bible)
every information you need is out there so research before trying to pay for it

Have valuable skills( helps you long term)

some countries are well suited for illegal activities. ( its a reason why Chinese are running large scale scam operations in Africa, Russia has the same but less and India ) harder to track you for several reasons

If you dont have money start small and look for what requires less funds to setup
(know what you want to do have a plan and follow through)

you are trying to make money to never work again so be ready to work hard and smart

To those now entering this 'world', welcome. Not all that long ago, this world looked a little different. Anytime you attended a festival, you would see the word "PLUR' everywhere freckled around the grounds. PLUR, Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. That was the universal truth. This was the only rule. People exchanged pills with strangers and fell in love with people who's names they'd never know. This isn't to say it was utopia, albeit, close, bad pills have always existed...just in a very different way than we know them today.
Just over 10ish years ago, when someone would be telling a story about having taken a bad pill, this meant they bought ecstasy and got a meth bomb... Or, it was simply bunk (didn't work). Today, statistically, every person who reads this knows someone personally, or knows of someone who has lost their life to fentanyl. Someone who has taken a pill that was far too strong they ended up needing medical help, someone who was dehydrating alone...

I'll let you in on a secret - just because the latter part of that sounds scary, does not mean this world is scary. It is so unfortunate that it took something so tragic and devastating like the Opioid Epidemic to make people care about what they're putting in their bodies, but because of it, awareness about the ability to test drugs, not only for fentanyl but full reagent tests to provide you with ability to best educate yourself on what you'll be getting into.

In most states in the U.S, if you walk into a pharmacy and ask for Narcan, it'll be given to you freely. The pharmacist is not assuming you're an opioid user or that this is intended for you. Acquiring this Narcan is you joining the fight for Peace. Peace from funerals. Peace from news articles. Peace of mind.
If you're with a ton of people and everyone brought their own substances and someone didn't test theirs, if no one has a fent test, money comes and goes, life does not come back. Share your bag that night and potentially save a life. Show Love by ensuring people - whether you know them or not - do not take untested drugs, now that's love.
You have to trust the plug, but never with your life. I had a telegram plug who would post a full reagent panel and fent test of any new substance they got in stock, even adding a printed copy of the results as well as a -literal- typewriter written note that said 'never assume any plug has your best interest, or is always honest. Be sure for yourself, here's a test" and an unopened fent test with the pack. (I dont know where you are but I'll think of you always!!!!). To me, that extra effort showed Unity. Carry narcan, even if you don't know anyone who uses opiods. The first time I administered Narcan, between the time I noticed someone needing help and the time he gasped for air, I could swear a second hadn't passed. I didn't see an 'addict' on the sidewalk outside a bar I was having drinks at, i didn't see a person who 'deserved' what he was getting, I saw a life that was about to be lost, and by saving his life, homie has had the chance to get clean (we keep in touch, he is 7 months sober).

The first thing anyone, buyers and vendors alike, should do is read the DNM bible. This gives them a good understanding of what both sides' expectations are and what they can expect going into this drug dealing venture

Being a good reader helps significantly. You will have a lot of reading to do, so start with the DN bible. In the future, you'll be reading vendor terms, market/shop terms, and swappers service terms. Hence, you need to "practice" reading, not just glancing like in high school. A well-informed buyer will speak well and to the point when there's an issue. An uninformed buyer, however, will panic like a headless chicken when shit hits the fan – and how to avoid that is already explained in the bible


Feeling comfortable with the DNM bible will instill confidence. When they encounter an issue or something out of the ordinary, their Spidey senses will tingle, enabling them to course correct accordingly.

In DN, advice from a stranger may be effective for them but unsuitable for your unique circumstances. While it's wise to listen to and read others' perspectives, remember that you understand your own setup best. Use what's available to you in real life to make your ordering process considerably simpler!


Regarding Harm Reduction -

1.Never buy a drug you cannot have tested locally before consumption. The risk simply isn't worth it. Instead, consider traveling to a country where that controlled substance is available and test labs are nearby. (In some places, you can ship a small sample for testing if you're familiar with the process.)

2.Never use drugs you didn't purchase yourself. Even friends can unknowingly receive tainted substances from unreliable sources and may not be as cautious as you about testing them before sharing. Cut ties with such "friends" if possible. They are playing with fire, and you'll be caught in the blast zone

3.Do not mix drugs without checking if they're compatible with each other. You might have done it when you were young but heart dont beat the same way all the time. Why risk not having fun another time? PLAY IT SAFE.

4.Avoid traveling, driving, or going out while under the influence. Far too many lives are lost this way, and it recklessly endangers others, bringing shame upon us all.

Read, read, read, and read some more. There is loads of information on Dread, including the /d/DNMbible. There are some very experienced and highly respected individuals on Dread who have written amazing guides for this exact reason. Use them. Regarding harm reduction, the best thing to be is proactive in reducing harm in whatever substance you are using. Using cocaine as an example, the Winston Wolf Harm Reduction Guide can be found here. It has great information for someone who is wanting to experiment with a drug for the first time. As always, stay safe and try to keep things in moderation!

/u/WinstonWolf had some great OPSEC practices. One example I will share is that he wouldn't just work with anyone. Rebuilding his private shop was a big deal to him. They had to check all the boxes and more, even if this meant months of delays and money to be lost. I feel like this is the only piece of OPSEC practice I can share from my vantage point that directly applies to ordering, not just working with any vendor. Always remember, treat a vendor with respect, and they will return it tenfold. You are their business. Great customers are the best and are treated as such.

The best advice I could offer to anyone who is new is - Always do your own research check more than one source so before buying from any vendor check dread check the reviews on the market your considering buying from send the vendor a message asking any questions you may have. Doing your own research will always help you in the long run make the best decision for whatever purchase you are making.

The other piece of advice that I would express is -don't be afraid to ask questions. There are so many people on this forum who will always give you honest feedback and help you out. Now you shouldn't expect or put anyone in the position where they have to hold your hand or answer questions that a quick search could answer. I know when I came online I had certain questions and I was always nervous I was going to sound stupid or "noobish" but this community I've noticed always does try to make you feel welcome in a sense. So never be afraid ask questions!

/u/OGServices was the first vendor that I connected with more as a friend than a vendor / buyer and didn't talk down to me like some vendors do lol.

I owe a lot to this vendor because he taught me more strategy and knowledge on here and it made me in the person I am online here.
He also took a lot of care and time into making sure his product was "safe" and that the gear was as clean as it could be. If one batch was not up to the high standards he has. He wouldn't sell it and not a lot of vendors have that moral compass.

I always respected that and always thought that was good harm reduction.

Best advice would be to learn how to use Tails OS via Jewtube.

Whonix and Qubes and other Linux stuff is too complicated for a newbie, they can use Tails to learn about other OS and so on.

If you are lookig to make money or DO anything of note on this side of the web, force yourself to READ an intense amount of forums, and never comment or potentially create a bigger footprint than you need to -- most questions you have are answered already, kind of like specific questions being answered by reddit users 9 yrs ago on the clearnet

Learn from the mistakes of others, I.E. read wiki about drug busts or hacking OPSEC failures -- should be easy because this stuff is relatively interesting.

If you have decided to come to the darkside don't immediatley pick a specific profession, study up and see what is most profitable for your living situation + IQ + level of motivation/dedication (willing to go 2 jail?, maybe just commit petty crimes...)

NEVER mix irl and online -- It's probably already tempting enough to tell friends how cool this side of the web is, and it'll be even more tempting when you get your first bit of money

But...

Even when you're drunk or high or so on, understand that what makes you good in this game is the ability to have OPSEC be your biggest priority.. More of a priority than revenue, and more of a priority than silly noteriety.
