DarkMatter - Missing fund - Order expired - need your opinion : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets

Hello guys,

I need someone with more experience than me to understand whats going on.

On the date 01 Jul 2025 i created my order on darkmatter, i paid with XMR and i saved the proof of order, this proof of order include
darkmatter PGP signature, Order ID, Order Url, Vendor Name, Vendor Url, Vendor PGP, Product Name, Product Url, Quantity, Price,
Payment ( Escrow ), XMR Price, Monero deposit address and the signature ( signed by darkmatter on the order date ).

Basically they had issues with deposits and i had no problems on waiting in fact i opened the ticket and i tried to have as much as patience possible, i cant complain about anything cause the support team was kinda quick answering me and kind aswell.

The thing is that at first i was being asked to provide txID and deposit wallet address then to provide the view key then to provide the PGP signature and today to provide key to decode output.

So my question is that :
if on xmrchain the proof of sending money is displayed correctly, is this enough to prove that I sent the money?

Hows possible that blackmask guy today answered to me that they cant help me if they dont decode the output?

I mean just few days ago quasar was very kind to manual check and he even confirmed on xmr chain the payment.

Iam the problem? i did something wrong? please help me understand.

Edit : The DarkMatter support team manual verified the payment even tho wasnt their fault, so i wanna +rep them. thanks.

To prove a payment, you typically need:
- The transaction ID (TxID)
- The recipient’s address
- The transaction key (TXKEY), which is generated when you send the payment
- Optionally, your private view key if you're verifying incoming funds

Using these, you or the recipient can run a check_tx_key command in a Monero wallet to verify the transaction details.
As for the “blackmask” person saying they can’t help without decoding the output—that’s actually consistent with how Monero works. To confirm receipt, they’d need to decode the transaction output using your private view key and their address. Without that, they can’t verify the funds were sent to them.
Quasar probably did a manual check using your view key and address to decode the output and confirm the payment. That’s a more hands-on approach, and not everyone is willing or able to do it manually.
If you still have your TXKEY and the recipient’s address.

I'll post the command line and GUI options to verify payment info you can send them yourself:

GUI
- Go to Advanced > Prove/Check.
- In the Check section, enter:
- The transaction ID
- The recipient’s address
- The transaction key
- Click Check. The wallet will display how much was sent and how many confirmations it has.

Command-Line Interface:
[commandline] check_tx_key TXID TXKEY RECIPIENT_ADDRESS
- Replace TXID with your transaction ID
- Replace TXKEY with your transaction key
- Replace RECIPIENT_ADDRESS with the address you sent funds to
- The wallet will decode the transaction and show:
- The amount sent to that address
- The number of confirmations
- Whether the transaction is valid

Also if you're using CakeWallet it has an auto "Prove Payment" button.

Good luck friend!
