Can you explain what seems fishy to you? The market is online, there are buyers placing orders and vendors processing orders right now. they are just using private links. Regarding XMR deposits: the vast majority of deposits have no issues. The last few days we've experienced a small percentage of deposits have a delay in crediting. This is a very small amount of total orders but its an (understandably) vocal minority. That said, 99% of these delayed deposits are resolved in 24 hours. In fact, I am on the market right now marking tickets "Resolved" because the deposits were credited within that timeframe.

We cannot send private links to users off the market. We are mitigating the ddos and the public mirrors will be stable again, and then you should generate a private onion and save it.

Will some of us from Arch even be able to generate a private link? From the little bit of reading and research I did yesterday before placing an order, private links would only be earned in due time of activity on and within the market itself. Just trying to learn more about a market that I just placed an order on yesterday. My first order on that market at that. Have also been trying to learn two other markets and seem to be having trouble accessing 2/3 of them at the moment. Just hoping that my order was confirmed and that the vendor has initiated the whole process of packaging and shipping the order. Hopefully, I will learn much more in the coming days. This item/product just happens to be an item that was needed a week ago when the Arch mindfuck had just begun. Cheers to everyone doing their best to run this market. A brand new buyer account with no history would not be able to generate a private onion currently. But we may implement, depending on how the ddos progresses, other accessibility features catered to these types of accounts. Do not worry.

Managed to get in an order earlier, so fingers crossed! But I did notice the deposit took a while, about an hour total, maybe 40 minutes after 10 confirmations.

Just listen to Quasar1. Wait till the public market links come back, and then when they do depending on how aged your account is and how long you've been with DMM. Then you can get your private onion link to access the market again.

I do not have a "MATURE" account yet, as I just recently registered for 3 other markets, Dark Matter being one of those, but I also placed an order through a known vendor yesterday and would love to be able to see the progress on said order. I already don't understand all of the ins and outs of the processes on that market in particular, so it would be nice if I were able to obtain a mirror of some kind to be able to check the status. I have a handful of very well respected vendors that I have spent thousands with an Arch that would vouch for me. If not, hopefully the main links are back up and running smooth soon. I will in the meantime try to find the vendor here somewhere on Dread and see if I can find answers without TX #'s or order confirmations. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I understand its frustrating for a new buyer who most likely does not have a private onion. While I cannot guarantee the status of your order, I can guarantee that as long as your vendor saved their private onion they will process your order. In the event your vendor cancels your order for some reason, you'll still automatically receive a refund to your XMR withdrawal address on file. Since we dont use a central deposit wallet or require manual withdrawals, if your order isnt being processed, the money will be sent right back to you. You dont need to get on the market to take your XMR off.

Well that is good news and pretty nifty if it in fact works well in real life scenarios. Hopeful that the vendor received the order and is doing exactly as you say. I just thought it was odd that when I made the purchase and sent to the address provided, and yes, I double checked that everything was legit, but it said something like if deposit not received in 11 minutes, the order would be canceled. I guess, I expected to see transaction "pending" at the very least. I didn't have time to wait around on it and figured I would check today only to find that I cannot access it. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough, but I guess only the vendor knows if that XMR deposit hit there provided address. Fingers crossed and hopeful and optimistic all is well. I also hope to earn a private link soon, so that I may have access during down times such as these. Thanks for all the communication!

If you have a mature buyer account with purchases and level, you can probably generate a private onion. So next time you get on, go to Account > Private onion and generate your link.

For now, however, you will just need to keep checking the public mirrors. We are working to mitigate the ddos, however, the next few days you can probably expect up-and-down stability on the public mirrors.

It is what it is, give them time to work this thing. I rather see market going down for a week or two than trying to force your way through the doss and expose yourself. Dont take risks or pressure about this, ddos is normal. If the doss gets real heavy, take the site down untill they get bored, im sure they will eventually get bored and move on.

Personally i would try to make a deal with them, part of the businness, theres some expenses. Give them percentage of the income that the market generates. They could be helpful to help you fight against future doss and maybe other stuff.

Well, there are ways to motivate them to not come back, like if theres something in it for them. Payment plan, so they don't get their money if you go down, "hiring" them, buying their services etc. You're a smart man, im sure you can figure something, if you want to.

Personally, it would be hard for me to give money someone who i know is a bitch ass snitch, even if i knew it would be smart move to do. But yeah, just my opinion, easy for me to talk about things i don't know anything about. Good luck, stay strong and keep coding! :)

And just to add more my matterless opinions, if you don't believe that the dosser can make some serious damage, don't pay. I can't see anything big in tor metrics, if it's just nuisance, they will get bored and move on. Was worried about this coming a habit where some dosser exposes the server, if thats not the case, just wait and we will back up and rolling in no time.

The public mirrors are working, there is traffic coming in on them - but obviously its greatly limited and unreliable access during the ddos attack. We do have a plan, and as I mentioned in another post to another user: you can expect the next few days to be up-and-down in terms of public access stability before the mitigation takes effect.

I have to stress that if you have a level 2 buyer account (or are any level vendor), you will not have issues accessing the market once you get your private onion.

I'm new to the market and got unlucky enough to have two orders not deposit properly and so they cancelled, and now the DDoS is stopping me speaking to you guys to fix it.
I can say your support team was quick to respond and escalate my ticket whilst I could get on, and I really appreciate you spending the time to explain why this is all happening, it's making things easier and appreciate it's not on you.

Yes, I sent funds on Friday morning. Order was marked "not paid" 12 hours later. I messaged support and got a response within 12 hours. Then ~12 hours later, the order was marked paid.

99% of users who had a deposit issue had it resolved within 24 hours of of opening a ticket containing the complete data requested in the news section of the market. I have even resolved some for people who could not get on the market due to ddos and sent me their info via PM here.

But if you paid the order to the correct address and in the right time, the rescan will set your order back to "paid" and the vendor will process it. It wont refund you.

right now it works on my pc the 3. mirror, but on my phone with differnt bridge and differnt vpn did not work, too busy!!!
I have still 2 orders in processing because my vendor did not safe his privat mirror. ; )

Okay so now apparently my private link isn't even working as of now. Changed to new identity, and new tor circuit and is still not letting me on.
