Lets say hypothetically you wanted to permanently remove a message or post (forgot to pgp encrypt a addy or something) if one were to delete a message thread is it retrievable if my account or dread were to be compromised?

We do occasionally have backups of all dread activity (just in case of server failure or compromise) so it's important not to post something on dread that would compromise your identity. You shouldn't trust us. Even if we say that it's deleted you should think we have a record of it somewhere.

If you ask for something to be restored from a deleted state, we probably can't do it though. Just to be warned. If it's deleted. It's gone.
