W11 it's so bad this could be the sole reason. But. The new US administration has ambitions about Denmark sovereign territory. I'd bet getting rid of backdoors was part of the decision too.

Apparently there is also GendBuntu - a version of Ubuntu adapted for use by France's National Gendarmerie.
As of June 2024 some 97% of their workstations are running GendBuntu.
Something near or a little more than 100 000 computers.
Also Germany’s Schleswig-Holstein state government are vowing to ban Microsoft programs at work.

So yeah,
a great year for Linux indeed.
