Some random script kiddie with delusions of grandeur sends an email to get one clearnet domain blocked, and just by pure luck they do it. From there to claim he has zero days in Monero blockchain, that he's taking down the biggest DNM currently active and to insult their admin staff, there's only a few steps.
Some tabloid-wannabe picks up random pieces of this and add his own pinch of BS spices : "vigilante" "law enforcement collaborator", "Archetyp users turmoil" and some more horseshit.
And we are supposed to take ANY of this seriously?
The .cc domain is managed by VeriSign, which is based in the United States. This means that .cc domains are subject to U.S. laws and regulations. The U.S. gov has the authority to seize domains.
This may seem a bit random, on dark markets, always use an onion address if you find it (and maybe private onion links once you register but that may leave you less anonymous if the site host is malicious). If the only choice for first pass to register or access the market is a clearnet, use it once and don't do it on your usual setup, use a burner IP (by whatever means) and bookmark the onions and use them then on.
No, this happened. I'm working on something exciting for a news piece . If current reports are true, I got it right from the source—a big announcement is about to happen from /u/BigBossChefOfArchetyp. Hold on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen.
Someone butthurt because we didn't respond further to your conversation /conversations/caac36a7782f057e1928/ ? I have to very unfortunately and not to my satisfaction agree with /u/BigBossChefOfArchetyp on that you and "Metro Magazine" /post/022ddc028db351b95af4 are truly top retards. You contacted me asking about taking the site offline and now you write "Antidarknet has also claimed to be working directly with the police". Where was claimed working with police though? Reported... maybe but working? Making shit up as you go. Who is the deranged individual here?
> recognized for making bold claims without demonstrating any notable technical skill or wit. This individual might have merely gotten lucky this time.
Yet the Monero bugs are logged officially and recognized by the Monero developers and contributors. Should've put some research into that.
> This individual might have merely gotten lucky this time.
When lazy writers and admins fail to reproduce the very simplistic nature of the attack - we didn't do it. But when we do it - we are lucky. Classic.
Doesn't need to be. All it needs to do is generate results. We ask again if someone without any skill per your say does this and is successful what does that mean for the markets and admins? Doesn't scream top notch security does it
Don't you worry though shittalker we've got things brewing bigger than our Monero 0day or this little mini side quest. We love to see you all squirm ;)
How about you read my initial post? Then try it out yourself. But you won't because talk is cheap. Both Monero bugs are logged by Monero developers but hey you know better than them for sure
