DNM Bible under attack! : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets

Currently some asshole decided to attack the DNM bible with a ddos attack. We will try to get it back up and running when we can.

Lucky for us the most recent update included an offline edition! (/post/40c86816505155c1a0d8) So we decided while asshole, decides to waste time we would put a copy of the offline edition up on Dread for everyone to download.

It can't be in your persistence folder if you're opening it on tails. Put it in your tor browser persistence.

I don't want it in a text document/pdf any of that for opsec reasons. Plus it's already coded for a website.

No it is an "Offline Copy" it works completely without internet access. It will open in any internet browser with, or without connection.

Honestly, I'd never given this any thought, and on it's surface just screams conspiracy. The more I think about it though, the more I wonder who even would be motivated to do an attack like this. It should theoretically only be improving peoples' business, I would think, by helping more people get started with darknet purchases. (Unlike in the case of DDOSing markets themselves, where the attackers have a vested interest in harming competitors.)

Then again, perhaps scammers would prefer people not know some of the information there? Seems like a double-edged sword, though, as some info is needed for a person to have enough knowledge to even be able to provide a scammer with info and/or coin. Rationally, I would think that LE would be more interested in catching sellers than preventing buyers--then again who am I kidding; there's an enormous history of irrational and seemingly counterproductive LE strategies around curbing drug sales!

Assuming you're opening it in tails.

Don't open it in your persistent folder. Put it in tor (persistent) or any other folder. Tor can't open something in persistent

It has to be in the tor browser folder or tor browser persistent. Tor cannot open files if you put them in your normal persistent

forgive my noobish issue but I cant get the bible to load fully. I have it in tor persistent, is unzipped and it loads the base page but its not formatted correctly and each link is dead. I had it running the other day following the same process. Where am I being dumb?
