Is there any place on here that would let Vendors alert each other on scams or that sort of nature? Or does anyone know where the best place to post information like that would be?
Just wondering if there was a place we could warn marketplaces and vendors of things that we may notice. We have a year full of personal experiences that we would love to share to stop the scammers and free loaders from harassing vendors or market admins.
What about a post for like informational tips on what to spot for in scams from Buyers? Or maybe we should keep it under wraps as not to educate more scammers on how to scam. :P
Actually that is a very good idea and it would force buyers intent on scamming to come up with some unique new ideas which would require effort and since by definition scammers are low effort individuals it would likely be a win win scenario.
Well said, it looks different and promising.
Hopefully it will go somewhere and actually be useful for everybody in need of answers and feedback.
Stay safe everybody.
/u/snowbunn For sellers I can imagine a place sharing information about tricks buyers might use? I've come across some old posts and forums, but they don't seem relevant anymore. It would be great to have a simple checklist of warning signs for seller behavior aswell. For buyers. Some clear points to help them and reduce the stress they feel during transactions.
Buyers are most likely the ones scammed at all points. Purity, weight, quality, ect being worse than it should be. A vendor has to ensure the package is stealthed and send it tracked (from which he/she can see if its arrived...). Maybe I'm completely missing something here, but Ive seen at least 2 posts from buyers in the last few weeks claiming you've scammed them snowbunni. Offense isn't always the best defense.
Publically announced updates are not scams but legit disputes that we are looking into and updating as we await responses IRL. Please wait for your response if that is what you are referring to. But that is not what we are talking about. We never in the history of our existence on the DNMs have scammed anyone and we don't plan on ruining our trust for any amount of claims. You are connecting unrelated dots and assuming.
