Ok I'm reading the bible and I'm following along pretty well, all I'm asking now is for the tools that are not available are there any upgrades and if so which and where or is there another source on how to obtain them... specifically wifi adapter... but I want the best setup so any guidance will help

You want the best setup: Ethernet. You want to go beyond Ethernet-- fiber optics. The speed of Ethernet is exponential compared to WiFi. Just get through the reading first, all the products will be there when you're done. Plus, this conversation really depends on what you're working with as far as a laptop/desktop.

So you get a SanDisk USB 3.0 (doesn't really matter much) flash drive. Use Rufus, burn Tails onto it, boot off the flash drive and that solves that.

When you open up the Tor browser you go to
about:config
JavaScript.enabled you set to False

The whacky thing is that turning the dial to safest doesn't disable JavaScript so it must be done manually at
about:config

once you have setup a PGP key, list it in your profile and head to the pgp practice sub, (or message someone on the board with PGP). most of us are happy for you to practice using PGP and getting the hang of it. it is a ESSENTIAL component of OPSEC>
