I think it's just a matter of time before some nation central bank starts minting some crypto currency, with the rest of central banks following lead. Having a blockchain as a publicly available universal ledger may become a dystopian 1984-alike super powerful "panopticon", by allowing governments to track ANY transactions we perform, removing any anonymity and privacy, and even worse, giving them the power to block any citizen's funds just by blacklisting them in the blockchain, so that no exchange would accept their cryptos.

But because BTC doesn't have a government behind, I don't think governments will let it be used and keep growing organically forever. Just my 2 cents....

Do you have an idea oh how large the entire cryptomarket needs to become for BTC to reach 1 million. Start with that. Possible yes. But it will take a long time.

If it does it would only benefit the West, If other countries get into it the USD would lose its strength as the "worlds currency". I just dont think those tyrants would ever let that happen yet alone lose such monetary value.

Yes, but because the US Dollar collapses and possibly even hyperinflates, so it will not have much more buying power than it does now.

The new US budget is going to explode the national debt so badly at the worst possible time, when it's already nearly at the breaking point, and several major credit rating bodies have already downgraded the US, specifically citing its unsustainable and rapidly increasing debt load and accelerating interest obligations.

With the enormous tax giveaways to the rich that Trump and his cronies just enacted, there's basically no possible outcome except extreme dollar devaluation. The crypto bros in Trump's orbit (really Vance's and Thiel's orbit) are salivating for this, they envision themselves as the kings of the shit pile after everything goes into the toilet and they're holding a large fraction of the crypto that didn't.

It's gonna be a rough ride, folks. Buckle up.

Yes but don't dump all your life savings in it thinking it'll reach 1 million in a couple years cos It won't but It can and it will, maybe in 30-50 years. here's how I did mine; With a $1m investment, I put 200k in btc and 200k in eth, two of the biggest crypto, then for the rest, doge, solana, tron, xrp, ada and shiba inu, I did 100k each on them and completely locked myself out like a booger sugar high pirate yeeeting a sealed treasure chest full of gold coins into the ocean. Monero is another story cos that's where my reservoir is at, didn't put money in it to expect profits, I had other reasons lol.

I did it cos I can afford to live without that 1m and not get buttfucked financially so depending on your investment, 50-100k won't hurt, you can do it the exact same way like mine, split them and come back after 50 years, well, that's if musk and his mechahitler ai haven't completely taken over, maybe I'll swear my allegiance to mechahitler and other ai shenanigans.
