do you keep your dark web activities a secret? : CafeDread | Torhoo darknet markets

sometimes i get paranoid close friendsmight turn on me ? And its abit weird living 2 different lives
Of course. That is literally opsec rule #1. Do not let anyone irl know that you know anything about the dark net and if they do you should disavow it and act like you are a changed person that shuns that profane and morally reprehensible activity.

You banned me a while ago on /d/DarkNetMarkets for calling out the scamming AB after they banned us and stole our money, saying we were spreading FUD, well we all know how that turned out. Don't you think it's time to at at least Unban me?
You can send a modmail with the ban message and we'll discuss it. Have you read the rules at /d/dnmrules?

like everyone else has stated before me, HELL NO. close friends who you grew up with at any point in time can turn government witness to save their own skin by painting you as the bigger fish or making you a scapegoat or etc. its all about loyalty until its them or you facing 25 years to life. If you want another way of bringing people on into an operation then say you know a guy who knows a guy then just string them along with bare minimum absolutely no mention of DN but never paint out the whole picture or else you can easily be replaced or be blamed as the mastermind which either of those can leave you in the dust by cutting you out, behind bars, or worse of all. Dead.

It's all one life, mate. It's your life. I'm certain there are things irl you don't mention to friends. Why should being on the DN be any different than those things you normally don't talk about?

It depends but for the most part no
telling them you bought some dope? youll prob be fine
telling them you're a seller with 1k btc and hotline to the sinaloa cartel? you'll prob be a lot less fine

My real friends are my brothers. I wouldn't tell them I buy from valley heat cause his logo makes him look like a fucking nazi.I try not to let it fade me though. It's the country I live in. Just cause your actual family is a bunch of nazi rapists doesn't mean you are

Monopoly? I'm no sergey. Chess isn't what your playing if your talking about the DW. Remember Ulbrit was white until he started talking about murder. If you mean using a vendor's site over a market. Yeah one wouldn't want to go big on a vendor's site. Risk is what they playing. Hoping the dealer down the street looks more like a douche than they.

it's a rip on the Van Halen band's logo, I understand if your country just got electricty a few years ago and have not seen or heard of this band. Back in the 1980's this was a big band.

this should not be a question you should never let any one know any thing about your involvement. not your mother or husband or wife or any one.

Depending on your jurisdiction, your wife cannot be compelled to testify against you. But generally speaking, you involve her and now you are stuck making a deal because you want her to avoid jail time. And they will ab-so-lutely one hundred percent use that against you. If you wanna tell someone, well... you're on Dread. Job done, now go back to reading up on OpSec /u/Monte-cristo

there is no reason to tell them about anything

That completely destroys the whole point of being on the DW.

I talk about the privacy benefits of using Tor and other such tools only to friends, I dont talk to strangers thats rule one of life. I give example on use cases that dont involve the forums im on. I dont speak about anything even close to being interpreted as criminal intent

If I tell this to someone, I may already be doing bulk deals with them in the first place, so they already have something to rat me out on (and I, them, but I would never do that). Most of my contacts are offline at the moment, so who really cares if they know I am active here in some way they probably cannot find me?
