Does anyone else think the era of the DNM is over? : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets

It's starting to feel like the era of easy to access markets is sadly coming to an end. The numbers of them have gradually dwindled to a handful & now, with all the latest big LE takedown, exit scams ( understandable atm I'm afraid) we are down to one option. Possibly being run by LE if the rumours are true & would make sense.
I'm hoping that there are some super intelligent people out there trying to figure out a new way around the problems 🧐🙏
What do you all think?

There will be new and better markets, since theres a ton of money to be made.

I wouldnt worry.

I'm quite confident that things will cool down for now again, and there will be new markets replacing the old ones. Sure, you cant replace the good people like BigBoss himself, but you can always replace their services, and the void(s) will be filled quickly. LE finally figured out what some of us already knew for literal ages, and honestly if any of them read this... congrats, I thought you never would.

But even now, theres still enough ways to fix the problem(s), ways to outsmart LE. Some of which are already being theorized about behind closed doors. And even if none of this ever happens, and markets abandon Tor altogether out of fear (not happening, big big IF, call it FUD even), theres still i2p.

Stay strong, stay vigilant, and stay safe. Cheers!

Well that was what I was hoping was happening as you say too much dollar to be made! I guess I'm just a glass half empty kinda person... I'm weighing up whether it's worth making small purchases on the remaining markets atm? Now I'm probably gonna sound really stupid but what is i2p? U can't say it obviously I know but u might have 2 make it more obvious 4 me without literally spelling it out if poss 🤔🤦

google it, i2p is a protocol somewhat similar to tor / the onion network. Im not technical enough with it to explain it in a good way.

I know I will be waiting until things settle a bit before using any of them.
It will be interesting to find out (if we ever do) how LE were able to bust a market that had ran successfully for 5 years, that's for sure.

LE never wins in the end, just for a moment.
give it all a couple months and we gonna have something stable already again.
It's always like that, sure rn it's a lot at once but other than that nothing out of the ordinary.

People were saying the same thing back in 2017 when AlphaBay (the original one run by Alpha02) and Hansa were seized and the latter turned into a honeypot. Things will most likely be a bit unstable for awhile, but given time new and better markets will take the place of the ones before them.

Oh man, and those were some DARK times. We still have a few markets to choose from right now. Back then, markets were VERY few and far. We usually didn't have 5 good ones to choose from. It was like, 1 good one...1 silk road clone...and 1 okay one. That was really it.

When Alphabay got busted we all for sure thought the DNM was over lmao.

No, when there are millions of pounds/dollars/euros - whatever currency - to be made, there will always be markets out there.

For feds to seize even one market, it takes them a shit load of time and resources, by the time it's seized, 3-4 new DNMs have started up.

We may see a vendor switch to DDs, due to the unstable nature but they've always known the risks.

There's too much money to be made for DNMs to cease to exist, it's really as simple as that

I've been using dark markets since 2012 after reading an article in the Guardian about Silk road, it literally explained how to access it and how to buy bitcoin. There's been a lot of ups and downs. If you think people are crazy panicking now, imagine how it was when SR was seized, it was the one and only market. Then Sheep market appeared, everyone flocked to it and got fleeced, including me. And yet here we all are.
Probably even Ross, having a good laugh.

Probably not, they can't even contain some streets in America, what makes you think they can completely contain the traffic of the internet forever and ever to come?

Do not use SWIM or a variation of it. It stands for "Somebody who is not me" and is absolutely useless. No law enforcement agent will stop his work when he sees that you used SWIM. It only makes you look like a complete noob. Instead step up your OpSec which is far more helpful.

I don't think DNM scene is over by a long shot, but Cannahome left a hole when they quit. They had the right idea with limiting their market to just cannabis-related products to limit LE heat and no one has done it like them since. Would love to see the "next" Cannahome now that XMR-only is the standard and more people are aware of how to use PGP.

I like the features of that market and the layout is decent, but it's missing so many of my trusted vendors! If more people migrate to it maybe I'd use it more.
