Does anyone have instructions on how to sign up for jabber xmpp? : OpSec | Torhoo darknet markets

I tried to follow the instructions on how to sign up for xmpp jabber on the subdread drugsec and the link I believe is out of date. Most of the options and fields on pidgin when signing up dont match some of them do. Does anyone know of a good instruction page to get signed up on pidgin xmpp/jabber with this latest version of tails?

On Tails > I assume you have persistence if not go set it up > Open TOR Browser > Turn off Java with the Shield button beside your adress bar, put it to safest, make sure the shield is fully dark, also go to about:config accept the risk and type in java, find javascript.enabled - modified - boolean - enabled > Double click or whatever to change it to "false" (This way javascript is really turned off as I believe TOR Browsers previous shield button method has a glitch, either way to both) > now go to jabber . de > click "Anmeldung" > Register > You don't need to put an email, just make a user and password *if you put email you can obviously recover your acc if you get locked out and they can validate your acc, otherwise they can only delete it to let you make a new user like that) > now open Pidgin > Accounts > Manage Accounts > Add > Select XXMP > put User > domain is jabber . de > and your PW (use keepassX for pwds) > and boom then give out your account or add buddies and your set! Feel free to add mine its in my profile, and you can test it out lol

So I turned off java script now in about:config. Do I have to worry about not doing that before cause even when I would just turn the shield to fully black I would still come here and dread would still tell me java script was on. it makes me paranoid to think for the last x months ive been running around with a false sense of security that it was off and it really wasnt.

Currently you have to do it everytime since that's the nature of Tails. However, you can make it remember a few things, check this thread, I was in this situtation a short while ago. /u/amotetas also shows us how to update electrum as well look for his posts.

If you're using Tails I would say it's fine to enable it for that site...
TOR comes with it "ON" by default, it is tweaked however. It uses JS but stil protects you, what we did above^ is just overkill lol
