Does restarting Tails do anything? : Tails | Torhoo darknet markets

I am using Tails with Persistence, always. I have two different accounts on the same site that are supposed to be different identities. I care to log in on different times to not leave a pattern or anything. As well as disabling JS etc so I'm aware about the basics.

Now, does it make any difference if I restart my Tails when I switch from one account to the other? Or is just a new Tor identity (and some time in between) the exact same thing?
It's overkill. You can just close and re-open Tor. Or go into the top right and go to "New Tor Identity".

Ultimately, god knows.*

One known thing that happens after a restart is that your guard node changes with Tails. So if you've been tracked based on a malicious guard node and final/exit nodes, that may change after a restart. Or the other way around.

^ This is somewhat what I meant by that. Who knows what kind of tomfoolery websites may be doing. At the end, you need to know your threat model and if the reboot to break described links and protect against possible unknowns is worth it.
Let's imagine your accounts are registered on a small private website and your activity is not related to any meaningful crime. Then a restart may not be required.
