DRUG HUB : Market Experience : DarkNetAustralia | Torhoo darknet markets

Nice and quick summary.

More difficult to use, headache around encrypting everything. But overall, the slower user experience and not so fancy UI is more than made up by the fact that the transactions are direct and the whole thing feels more secure.

The site takes a commission of each purchase and there's no wallets you need to use on the site, you just send direct to vendor with market commission.

Comms with vendors are generally slower, but feels a little more professional and secure with their being a PGP encryption at every time.

Vendor experience for me was positive. Got a few freebies thrown in for good measure too.

EDIT: Clarification - The funds are held in ESCROW on market wallets, but once paid, they are not on vendor market wallets. So if you finalise the funds are paid out. It doesn't go directly to the VENDOR from your wallet until you FINALISE.

Thanks for pointing that out in the comments.

Overall positive experience.

Sweet as my brother got sum funds tonight and gona make a small purchase great to hear a proven success..ya its a touch slow but its simple and effective ...we hardly need Rendered 3D graphics and bells and whistles..it is an illegal darknetmarket..its actually good it kinda forces you to use PGP as I am guilty of being a little slack in this area..lol

you just send direct to vendor with market commission.

no.. this is an often held misconception of 'walletless' markets.

the market still holds the funds and pays them out as per regular markets. it just means you don't hold excess coin on the market on a buyer wallet.

Correct. Holds the funds in ESCROW. But not on market wallets.

I have updated my summary review.

escrow is held by a market controlled wallet and offers the buyer no further protection than a 'market wallet'. if the market has auto withdrawal then you are correct in saying the funds are released direct to vendor. many do not.

drughub eg:

* AutoSweep: Once your cleared balance reaches a predefined amount a withdrawal will be automatically initiated to an address of your choice. However AutoSweep initiated withdrawals are still processed offline.

Yeah the encrypting to speak a few words to a vendor is painful. I'm not sure I love the idea that you have to get an invoice and then get the funds there asap or you're liable to be fined 5% or some shit. If only they worked like Abacus. I would have an order landing tomorrow. Now I have to learn about a forsaken cake wallet. and do other mental gymnastics.

The field has really narrowed from the days when there were multiple big markets like alpha nucleus dream etc.

The squeeze is on.
/u/zasrantsi

Download feather wallet for Monero. If you've ever used Electrum for BTC, using feather will be second nature to you.

Mental gymnastics train your brain to be more flexible and if you've been around since alpha/nucleus/dream markets then you should appreciate the ever so slightly higher bar of entry required to use DH.

Put the shoe on the other foot for a second and imagine you had to reply to 10-15 new/prospective customers (along with your buckets of other mail) and tell me taking copy of public key, importing keys, setting recipients, typing out "yes we do mate" encrypting, pasting back in and hitting send. You don't think this is surplus to requirements and a prolific waste of time? Those that wish to converse further with sensitive data with clear text rather than encryption.. well, its natural selection isn't it. Let Darwin sort it out.
/u/dontlaugh I'm serious

i disagree somewhat. security is paramount in these situations and there's been plenty of users that have sent sensitive info unencrypted on markets. fuck i've seen market feedback with auspost tracking numbers in it.

having a chat on market, although a nice to have at times isn't a necessity and shouldn't be encouraged, even encrypted. do it off market on a forum such as dread. always smarter to disassociated general conversation that could be used at some worst case scenario down the line where it can be linked to something incriminating. dumb cunts or not, i prefer to let darwin stop the dimwits getting their drugs rather than getting them in trouble with the law.

in saying that, i dont envy you having to go through keys to encrypt multiple messages.

the fact that markets have had 'market encryption' for so long and idiots have been using that just proves that people are lazy.

i myself only learned to use XMR and really encrypt everything once i was forced to on WHM when it was the main market. annoyed the shit out of my at first, but definitely gave me a sense of confidence that i wasn't gonna get a knock on the door as a freaked out noob before that.

I've kept it pretty basic. Used to buy BTC anon. Sent directly to blockchain wallet - with no id linked - then straight to the market. Never used electrum. Never tumbled a coin.

I'm definitely using drug hub more..ii was going to split my meth and ket orders between drughub and Darkmatter, placed a half gram order of Meth with Specialized AU on Drughub absolute breeze, plus easy to verify authenticity with Drughubs Master key, just waiting for shipment..went to place s ket order on Darkmatter...couldn't get on,tried 3 times...fuck it ordered 1g of ket on Drughub with My Drugs a smaller but solid Vendorr, again no issue within 4 confirmations it was detected and again swift as..I think once The firm and Superstar go live on Drughub I probably wont bother checking out 3 markets.. lol was going to use Blackops but. I kinda hated the market wallet system on Abacus so seeing I had to deposit into the market I changed my mind its a vulnerability and risk I don't need....with everything so jumpy and touchy atm...one of these markets who may miss out on the big share may exit the way a couple did like that "( Darkode?)" Who became a jealous fuck when people went to Abacus instead of them after WHM and Torrez closed shop..both a lot more ethically and smartly than most have mind you.lol

Yea I did finally make a purchase on Dark matter..I think one thing we can hope for is as with Abacus as a market gets more popular and more people rely on it and in turn makes more money they tend to strengthen weaknesses such as up time and certain niggles that become apparent....hopefully...lol

DrugHub are kidding themselves surely... As a vendor who sends out sometimes 50+ messages a day to 40 or so people, some regulars a lot of newbies.. The fact I have to encrypt EVERY SINGLE ONE , even just a reply of "yup thats fine mate" Will be my death, I can hardly keep up as it was on abacus. I think they've completely lost touch with reality. and even though i have a vend there, chances of every using it are pretty slim, DMM for me so far

[OPSEC FAIL] DrugHub

Just read this OSINT breakdown by Evil Rabbit: https://medium.com/@D4RKR4BB1T47_94097/drughub-how-not-to-operate-a-dark-net-marketplace-0766da100ba2

- Their site logo had metadata linking to macOS & Adobe Illustrator

- Both .su & .link clearnet domains leaked IP 189.2.171.6 (not behind Cloudflare)

- Jabber chat server lived on the same IP/port combo risk of chat takeover

- Hosted in Dubai/UAE extradition treaty = legal risk

Basically, they combined sloppy OPSEC with exposing critical infrastructure.

Since it's likely Adobe has access to those who created the branding (e.g. /u/DrugHub) it's likely they're able to track the administrator's whereabouts or what device he was using since we know it's Mac OS, they can assume Apple will be of great assistance due to their tracking technology.
/u/gurkin 📢 Knowledge

Very good points.

However, Adobe Illustrator does not hold files in the cloud unless you use the cloud services. Unless there's copyright metadata, there's not any way to link to a specific machine or user in the metadata.

If this is the case, I wonder how long the market will operate before the owners jump ship, or to Russia?
