Looks like something might have happened to them and they've jumped ship. All staff accounts deleted and they set the sub to private. Will give it 24 hours to see if anyone reaches out to explain.

The user in the comments was an impersonator, I've banned the account.

I find it hard to believe, especially considering that we are currently enduring heavy DDOS attacks every day and night, even at this very moment. Our DDOS protection system is effectively handling these attacks without causing any damage or delay. But likely not comparable to what Superlist markets are experiencing.

for vendors its an issue. i know a couple of guys who have gotten burned several times in the past and they literally go on vacation mode when the escrow account goes above 20k . i personally had on archetyp over 30k in escrow. although in that case im more bumbed out about archey going away. that market was sooo smooth to work on.

It doesn't make any sense. even if they were exit scamming it would be more beneficial to keep the account and sub up in my opinion. Maybe it's a breach or something related to security or someone managed to hack them which is a rare case, but still possible and if their opsec is bad. Alternatively, it could just be one person running everything and now hes trying to disappear.

Either way, If I had to conclude the situation it's probably that something happened to the admins or the "admin" if it's just one person. If they all deleted their accounts I do not see them coming back. This is my speculation until Hug clears it out.

Agreed exit scam highly unlikely. Also with DDOS going on many casual users won't even be able to access the market... Only users that check regularly for an updated link. That in combination with being on the verge to get on superlist, exit scam now would really be a waste of potential.

I hate to say it, but erratic behavior like this usually means one of two things: either they’ve been compromised to some degree or, as /u/HugBunter put it, something might have happened and they’ve chosen to abandon ship (probably out of sheer panic). Hopefully, neither is true for the market users. If I had to guess, it looks to me like it’s the latter rather than the former. In any case, it’s not good optics and awfully suspicious.

That said, everything is speculation at this point, and everyone should proceed with caution in the event of any reemergence.

Yeah it's ashamed, I tried Elysium a while back when archetyp was going through some serious ddos. It seemed fast and quick but unfortunately these little markets don't make it far down the road. It brings me back to the little market "core market" I think it was years ago, I remember that was a small one too. Nothing under the deep web markets lasts forever. Can't we just wake up in 150 years when drugs and drug markets have been legalized?
