I just did a google search "empire down" if you look at reddit posts people were saying the exact same things they are saying now. It's funny when you see someone post "I've seen this exit scam coming for a long time now" from over a year ago.

Well just like every market. They always come back until they dont. This might be the time they dont. My point is that nobody (unless part of inner circle) knows. People are gathering facts then molding a story around it to fit the facts (much like a police investigation) The story sounds good but clearly no one knows all the facts. It's all deductive reasoning based on a limited view.
And then you have people who combine facts with outright lies and this further confuses the matter. Like the post that's been going around about the IP adress being leaked and LE seizing the servers. They post a nice screenshot of the leaked IP, and even this is not verified, but post nothing to support the claim that LE is involved.
I do hope Empire comes back though. I think the average user's biggest complaint from them is getting scammed by vendors and that's not Empires fault. It is on the buyer to do due diligence on all vendors, with every tool available before making an order

people need to bare in mind that Empire ops have never really been very fast at anything but thats because they have good OPSEC and low amount of staff members and they do work hard if some of you users knew what the back end of the #1 market is like it would blow your little drugged up brains to oblivion and to think such a small amount of staff members handle the volume they do can be quite mind boggling think of a team of around 10 people running the back end of a smaller version of eBay globally.........

Another thing to mention is if we all think about markets like AB Dream etc they all had terrible issues with ddos attacks that they could never really overcome just wait out and rotate mirrors where Empire and Dread have really upped the game with there approach to ddos mitigation and i am like 99% sure this is what is going on right now.

Weird thing for me is, if Empire is gone, this is probably the 4th time I've gone to a website and said "oh it's really slow/down right now, I'll try again later/tomorrow" and then next thing I know I hear about shutdown, exit scam, etc.

But now that I think about it, that's kinda regular routine with these markets. It might be slow or down and then I just have to try again later. At least that's how Empire was, I'm sure some of the other markets don't have these issues. Being the biggest definitely makes you the target.

You know whats not FUD? It can take months for disputes to be resolved, weeks to ban scammers and they don't even reply on their own subdread. Now the servers down even though 'nothing' happened? Tell me again why I should use Empire market instead of other ones when they even have some of the same vendors.

One thing i noticed about the FuckOff1234 account on dread is that he has the award for being a sub dread moderator but he isnt a moderator on the Empire subdread so i am curious to see what subdread he a moderator of if anyone can enlighten the situation.

As much as i hate Se7en , there are people blaming him for controlling Empires servers, he is telling the truth. Se7en was originally brought onto Empire as the forum moderator, at the same time he had a vendor account on the market with the same name. Once the original forum closed they took him in as head moderator where he basically was the PR guy for them , he had privilidges on the market for disputes and stuff like that but the main person behind empires servers was Fire .

Fire and FuckOff1234 were 2 friends who knew eachother in real life.
How do i know this?

Because i used to talk with the owners of empire quite regularly when the site was small and one day fuckoff1234 contacted me out of nowhere, i think he added my jabber from empire. He had the sort of personality where he liked to brag alot and he would say things to me i would repeat back to fire and fire would say "how do you know about that?" and i would say fuckoff mentioned it and he would get pissed off. Fire was a behind the scenes sort of guy that not many people really talked to apart from probably DarkDotFail , Hugbunter and some early vendors on the market. So one day he contacted me out of nowhere saying he is the admin of empire, so i encrypted a code to empire markets private key and sent him it on jabber, he decrypted it and sent me the code back which was his proof. In the same list on RiskIQ the IP F2CK posted there is lots more of IP's hosted on the same server and then some others hosted at other places like SHINJIRU some of these when visited redirect to real empire mirrors well other redirect to phishing empire mirrors now i know when empire goes down my phishing page redirect users to the real empire mirror the script is pointed at and sometimes it will redirect back to the phishing mirror depends on my server setup at the time so this leads me to believe that these are all just phishing proxy's and there IP's being discovered

i have the odd server running still but were not greedy and we kind of know it ruins the rep of the market to be greedy you kind of have to work with them without working with them you have to respect it some phishers just plague links all over the place etc i just let deposits come to me by leaving my site running on its own i don't really make much i could make 20k a week but i choose to make like 1k a week out of respect for the place that makes me my income i think dream went because it was just plagued with about 1000 phishers a day in the end and speed had enough of it the endless support tickets from users that cannot practice good OPSEC for me to phish someone the have to go to the old main empire mirror with a .com instead of onion and well anybody doing that shouldn't really be on the market that kind of OPSEC is blatant disrespect for what the are attempting to do if you dont know the difference between a .com and .onion you don't have a place being on the |DW and need to be taught a lesson they inevitably learn the hard way and then go bitching to support staff blaming the market for stealing there coin i could 100% guarantee empire has never stolen a single bit of btc of a user so far unless they don't come back then they got my 5$ i can be good i see my self as being very loyal to empire in a weird way

Why do you think there must be some level of technical expertise to use the DW, you are trying hard to justify being a fucking cunt, because you have a level of skill in a particular area that is higher than others.

All I did was point out the fact that he had deleted all of his Dread post history except for 3 threads... suspicious behavior. They've been seized or exited, nothing more. Start getting off of Empire's dick, all the peasants who pine for them to come back.
