it was because of a mix of reasons

the title was in all caps

the title did not describe the content accurately enough

such pm scams are incredibly frequent, just report them in the mod mail and then it is done.

plus speaking from my experience as a mod the post would most likely result in the /d/dread mods being spammed by over ten reports about the same user instead of one report made by you. dealing with many mod mail messages takes a lot of time.
