I can confirm this, they are either A. Setting up selective scammer accounts and scamming people DAILY ( this is most likely) or B. Allowing vendors to scam and turn a blind eye

Just got scammed $1600 by a vendor with 200 positive reviews no negative, now he has over 15 negative reviews from scamming people and they are doing nothing about it, this is happening with tons of accounts. it only makes sense they do this so they dont have to exit scam, its not really hard to think about

It's pretty crazy that an account can gain 200 + reviews ALL fake. I think that highlights a broken system. Additionally how empire can ignore it. I reported vendor fresh harvest about a month ago and have no reply from my ticket and the vendor is still vending...

Its been happening every night lately N get up voted to boot.. obviously by now no body listens to these bullshitters anymore This kinda shits getting old .. its been way over used .. its just them wasting there time anymore .. Empire N the other top Markets must be so good that that ring of scamming Markets are finding it tough to get any business.. When 1 market scams and anther just opens up shop N scams again N repeat this over n over people catch on.. This scammer might half to work a little harder this time people are learning .. I guess these top sites fucking your scams up by sticking around .. As for Empire, they've lasted a while, but the future is never set in stone, best explained by this guy, who is highly credible:

There has been a non stop smear campaign and DDoS campaign against Empire, which is usually followed by the then #2 market exiting.

Users smear Empire and shill Nightmare, then Nightmare exits
Users smear Empire and shill Samsara, then Samsara exits
Users smear Empire and shill Cryptonia, then Cryptonia exits
Users smear Empire and shill Berlusconi, then Berlusconi exits
Users smear Empire and shill Apollon, then Apollon exits

Don't believe all the repetitive FUD you hear about Empire Market. They come either from smear campaigns or from phished users. Just because Empire is fighting a DDoS at the moment, doesn't mean you should immediately flock to the next smaller market. They are the only market that has proved they intend to stick around.

You know what /U/Heinous. I think you are absolutely 100% correct. And what bothers me is that every time someone gets their funds stolen(sometimes it is phishing, no doubts), they are met with the usual response "you got phished, your own fault" - wake the **** up people, can't be said enough.

I apology in advance that I triggered there, but honestly I think that people have to stop being so naive when there are so many red flags going and have been for quite a while by now.

I even warned people on my previously banned account belli91(banned due to advertising legit pharmaceuticals without being a vendor on any markets, but guess why I wouldn't - see the results as we speak, they speak for themselves.

/u/danktheuncle - Remember what I told you regarding me never joining a market? See what is happening right now? - There you go... I saw it coming, most people knew deep inside that it'd happen eventually, but when, was the million dollar question.

I think you deserve to read this as well mate, since you mentioned I would benefit a lot more if I joined a market due to my positive track record, but I could literally feel the bomb ticking and was about to explode, and here we are with people losing their funds. To end this: I'm just glad that I did listen to my inner voice. I apology in advance if you didn't want me to tag you in this post, I just thought this would explain you exactly why markets always have scared me, hence why I only DD.

Ps. It's not my intention to contribute to other people's so-called FUD, but for every day, we start seeing more and more buyers and vendors complaining about their accounts being drained completely, I can only reject to believe that all those people got phished - there's no way, let's just be realistic for once.

It is fine that you tagged me because I am not one to keep his head in the sand however there is still a lot to be said for being market listed. Two verified vendors that I have personally known for years got exit scammed by both Apollon and Cryptonia and do you know what they told me? That I can now find them on Darkmarket because being on a market even with the occasional exit scams still benefit them more than going it alone. This was not tag team vendors either. They told me the same thing separately.

For Dragon Eric, a very well known name often cloned by scammers, going it alone is probably fine but for lesser known vendors the market exposure and customer confidence of having escrow buys probably really boosts their business.

I do not know you however I personally would feel much more comfortable placing an order for a listing that you had on Empire with escrow as opposed to doing a DD and that with me knowing that Empire could leave at any time or not.

What I would suggest for both vendor and customer alike is to leave as little idle coin as possible on that market.

I guess their situation is slightly different than mine. If I have to randomly guess then I believe they’ve been in the game for years, so they have built a platform aka people know who they are, unlike me who started half a year ago. Also, people are still interested in pressed pills for now in USA(not all though), so selling 50k a month, especially while being in a country with a population of around 350 million changes a lot. Your smallest state is bigger than my country :). Anyway, the domestic part is doing pretty good considered the size of my country and the international deals are growing daily, to the point where I do get pretty exhausted sometimes. However, as explained in a previous post: the service such as instant replies is very important to me, and that is only possible if you’re dealing outside markets.

I’m still a little fish swimming with the sharks :)

Finding a 100% reliable partner is the issue, but for now I stick to DD, since it’s really not doing bad, Who knows? Perhaps one day you’ll see me on a market, until then - Take care and have a lovely weekend :)

Yeah I don't know why you haven't migrated to more secure markets with solid uptime like WhiteHouse, YellowBrick, or a few of the other trusted lot like Metropolis, Black-Ry, SquareMarket, or Big Blue. Newest trick of the book I learned after combing these very forums, check out the vendors the little time you get on Empire before somehow you get knocked off the server again, and then search with the new Recon service for the same vendors and see if they offer their wares elsewhere, then go shop there, that way you're not wondering all night if the vendor saw the order because Empires uptime sucks ass, or worst, when you're in the middle of window shopping waiting for the coins to confirm and then you get logged out. Shits fucking annoying and a complete turn off.

I havent seen anybody get phished with 2FA on and verifying everything. Never happened to me and I do transactions regularly ranging anywhere from 60 bucks to almost 2k. I will not believe it unless it happens to me and also more people with 2FA enabled. Empire still has my business. May look into white house and others in the future but why fix what ain't broke? Im legitimately more worried about a newer market stealing my funds than Empire staff. Of the last 20 posts I've seen about being phished on EM, I believe 100% of them had not manually verified a damn thang. Says a lot. I dont expect any trouble for myself.
