ExitNode inside tor? : Tor | Torhoo darknet markets

I was reading how the Tor network protects it's users and servers by hiding their ip addresses, but I find it weird that some people think that you need need an exit node when browsing inside Tor. From what I read I came to the understanding that when you "exit" the Tor network you need to use an exit node. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's right. Visits to .onion servers do not use an exit node and are contained within the network

Thought so. Some people on dread are misinformed.
Get used to it.

It depends on the service whether it has an exit node or not (This way, your traffic remains within the encrypted Tor network, enhancing your privacy and security)! :)

ExitNodes { }
StrictNodes 1

leave it empty to avoid specifying any exit nodes!
