Feeling empty, and hopeless... : CafeDread | Torhoo darknet markets

For the last three months I have sat at home watching movies and tv shows with absolutely no ambitions, hobbies, goals or plans for life, went to the gym on and off for some time however didn't stick to it... another failure. I don't have a job, I'm going to have to try education again (dropped out earlier this year) although I have no clue on what I will do career wise, can't think of anything that I want to do tbh. I day dream about being wildly rich and successful but the way I'm currently wasting my life away I will end up begging for spare change outside my local supermarket. Today I came to realize after meditating for around 10 minutes and staring at the ceiling for another 30 that this cannot carry on, however I have no clue how I'm supposed to make a change, I have been thinking about getting into hacking/cyber security for the past half a year... lazy mf, but I have certain expenses that need to be taken care of right now and for reasons I cannot get into I can't get a job until maybe the end of the year, and learning cyber is a long, tedious process. Looking at my empty bank account earlier today made me really rack my brain trying to think of how to get some money but my stupid ass couldn't think of shit, apart from selling some old clothes on various marketplaces, and so I ended up on dread, this is unfortunately not the first time I have come to dread for answers and trying to find ways to make some quick money. Anyways thanks for reading, feel free to share the secrets on how to become a millionaire over night (don't try scamming me I have 20 cents to my name 💀)

Join the military. For real.

They'll give you a job, purpose, housing, and a career for the rest of your life if you want it. Not to mention retirement benefits, pension, and other goodies like VA loans, etc.

Military is always an option for those down on their luck. Anything other than being homeless, right folks?

It's the single best option for anyone under 35-40 years old with no direction, opportunity, or purpose.

Everyone thinks they're get deployed to a front line war zone or something. In reality you'll probably get some appointment at a random base inside the USA or somewhere like Japan or another not dangerous place.

They'll ask you about your skills and what you like and put through tests. They'll push you in a direction towards something you're passionate about and grow that skill. Like to cook? The military needs 20,000 chefs. Like tech and computers? They have that for days and you'll be clicking a mouse all the time.

Talk to a recruiter and genuinely keep your mind open and ask tons of questions. You'd be surprised.

(this applies to the USA only; not sure about other countries)

I think it's the same for most developed nations who don't already have mandatory service requirements.

+1

I have many friends who have gone the military route, one joined in his late 30s as an officer with no prior military experience. Some of the guys who are doing the best I know in life went military. Its not all jarhead shit you see in the movies, there are hundreds of thousands of different roles, from comp sci to legal to engineering and everything in between.

YEP! See my post above. Everyone has this idea that they just kick your ass and put a gun in your hand and ship you off to die. That couldn't be further from the truth.

what would you advise for a person who resembles OP but is too old to join the military? trying to counsel a friend & am sort of at a loss bc they can't climb out of their hole & i'm hardly a paragon of success to tell them to mirror. neither of us really have any prospects i'm just better at lying to myself about it i guess

If you don't care about fighting wars for filthy Israelis then sure, this is a great choice. The only downside is that you go to hell xd

start going to the gym regularly. you have to fill the empty time you have. meet with a career counselor at your school and find something you are interested in. have some friends? middle man an order on the drugs they buy from an established vendor here. seek professional therapy assistance. too often mental health is ignored. if you were physically injured you'd go to the doctor until you were better. same with therapy and your own self

learning cyber isn't as difficult as it seems. Pick a cert, if you have zero experience, start with A+ and Net+, once those are done hit SEC+.

you can build a little at a time, no need to do it all at once. You could've knocked out a chunk of the A+ while typing this post. all the information is free online, check out youtube and there are tons of free classes, all you need is a PC.

there's also possibility you could work from home. give it a go, you'd be surprised how far you can get if you just work on it 30 minutes - 1 hour a day.

Your in a rut man. Getting out of it is uncomfortable. I think a job would be a good start (put school in the long term goals unless you really know what you want to do and it requires a degree.) The job doesn't have to be your dream job just something you kinda like and makes you leave the house and socialize.

I know your having trouble getting to the gym, but physical activity on a regular basis is as effective at treating mild or moderate depression as most meds. Rather then pay for a membership maybe just some jogging or walking by your house and bodyweight exercises (you can look them up easily) You should do this 30 min a day most days. You have to force yourself to do this until it becomes your routine. Plus it really boost confidence when you get a little fitter.

If you can do just those 2 things and stick with them you will get into a better head space. I promise. Give it 6 months maybe less

Go on a job website and just apply for a bunch of shit. Do part time even, then it won't be too stressful

You've seen a therapist? That is a start, and covered by medicaid if you really are this poor

Otherwise, do some sort of physical activity you actually enjoy. Don't think of it as exercise. Pick out something that you would have liked to have done in the past, then fuel the car, book the ticket, pack your gear, and go do it.
