finding good hiding places in car : OpSec | Torhoo darknet markets

what are some of the most inaccessible & best places to hide things in or on your vehicle when going from A->B?

i have seen magnetic boxes that can be put under your car

i've seen diversion safes like fake cans etc

short of having a customizer install a mechanical trap in your car what is a smart way to move your whatever around safely?
It depends on what you transport, weed is hard, other things is somewhat easier.

Not sure if you refer customs control or traffic stop.

The customs black belts has seen it all, if they have got a reliable tip or get the hunch they most likely will find it, where ever it's hidden.

Regular police is not that good, just make sure that a dog can't find it. However, if the police takes the car to their garage they have black belts there too.

The thing is that the cars route to the border control or traffic control is more important than your hiding place. The roads are much more controlled than we think and cars that visited know drug slums are more likely to be checked and they spend more time on the check.

Likewise, the persons in the car are also crustal, the customs and police are trained to detect deviations in behavior and other things that's not normal might make them suspicious. And if people get nervous they know there is something.

So, never smoke week in the car. Maintain the car, tires, lamps, etc. must be in good condition, this is more important than the hiding place.
There's so many videos of people committing misdemeanors while committing felonies
Speeding
Not using turn signal
Following too closely
Burnt out lights
Smoking weed
Expired license
Expired tags
No insurance
No seat belt (and front passenger)

If you want to expand on that -
Understanding each states tint laws also

Understand your basic rights
Right to refuse consent (USA)
How to state this is not consensual (Are you detaining me or am I free to go?)
Understanding coercion of your rights (If you don't consent I'm getting the dog)

The list goes on - don't make it even easier for LE!

Many of these videos are cases of "parallel construction." The cops either have a source they want to use as much as possible before it gets burned or they got the info from an illegal source, so they wait for you to commit a minor traffic infraction to pull you over.

From there, reasonable suspicion and probable cause are much easier to establish.

Many cases have been thrown out when the cop was a little too eager to find a reason... Especially for "failure to maintain lane" or "following too closely."

If you're transporting illicit or controlled substances, a dash camera may actually be a good investment... Just make sure it isn't one that connects to the net!
Thanks /u/MrBacon420 , you complemented it nicely :)

Let's assume you're trying to beat a spot check by a local smokey and not like, US Border Patrol down where they know how to strip your car to the frame faster than a Daytona pit crew.
Let's also assume you're transporting something small, since you mentioned the fake can. You either:
A: Hide in plain sight.
B: Go full KGB.
Hiding in plain sight requires the containing object not feel unnatural with modified content. So like, if it's super light, it can be hidden in a smaller, less dense object. The heavier, the more substantial the container. You want the searcher to notice nothing upon cursory examination, encouraging them to dismiss it and move on.
Full KGB shit is installing a device in your car that is held together with magnets instead of screws, like a dash cam or Android Auto external unit, or uber sign...
