For vendors: How to sign a pgp message to prove ownership : Archetyp | Torhoo darknet markets

A lot of new Archetyp vendors seem to be having trouble providing a pgp signed message in order to qualify for a vendor flair here. Some will send their public pgp key and ask why that is not sufficient. The reason is because anyone can create a dread account, surf over to an Archetyp vendor profile page and grab that vendors public pgp key. He would then be able to post a message here claiming to be the actual vendor by adding it to his comment. Only the actual owner of the private pgp key can sign a message using it. Below is an example of me signing my own pgp message and beneath that a link where more info can be found:

Open your pgp program and in your list of pgp keys find the one with your name and put a check in the checkbox

Then go to your message box and type in that you are requesting a vendor flair on archetyp market.

Then at the top of your pgp program click on the word "sign"

A popup box will ask you to insert your password. Do so and click "ok"

The result will be a pgp signed message similar to this one that I am sending to you as an example.

Copy and paste it to a reply to me and voila'
