It's not over till the fat lady sings as they say. I'm just watching and waiting a little longer. I do wish Vito would give more updates, I love Abacus and I hope it's not an exit scam or seizure. I have built a good base here and It would be sad to start fresh, but such is life - for now we just need to remain positive and hope for the best. The hardest part of all this for me personally is losing contact with the Vendors I can't find here (as I mentioned in a couple of posts I've made)

A lot of speculation is going around but keep your heads up guys and girls.

The only way Abacus come's back is if they fix what happened in the back end, got exploited or got completely fucked some how.

Honestly I have no idea what it was or is. It's all speculation. Maybe right now it's a little cope on my behalf, I will admit that. But I will surely get over the fact this is the end type situation soon.

This was my first and only market so for me it's a bit difficult - I'll soon find somewhere that works for me and hopefully has my vendors. Anway, I'll stop with the cope / hoping and just spectate for the time being.

Copium. We hope they come back but the odds are slim. I usually give a market 48 hours before I rule it out. I had $1800 disappear during my front page bid Sunday which just made things even more evident when support never reached out given they had 24 hours to do so before the links went down.

Indeed, as a buyer i was a 4 days late getting to things for personal reasons. Now I have to find all my people for a very
long time. I give it 72 hours and it's a holiday. the problem is there are RQ-170 Raytheon Sentinels flying all over doing recon and data collection in USAFB areas gathering meta data. they are 20 deep, float, fly mach5, then have 3 triangular lights to do god knows what trying to break the 4-5 constitutional amendments. they have no right to use autonomous craft to spy on American civilians daily private business. But they do.

Hope it is just a ddos issue and everything gets up and running, but I'm very doubtful already accepted my losses. If they're working on the issue, we need more updates and better comms.

Also Hugbunter has said it looks like an exit scam, no point in us trying to gaslight each other.

Dont get too attached or reliant on anything on the darkweb, eventually it'll let you down.

Run it up while you can because every site eventually comes to an end. Doesn't matter if it's LE, Exit Scam, Or The Rare Graceful Retirement.

Pretty much, some time before retirement they suffered an exploit where they lost 4 Million,
And at the time they had 10-12 Million in Escrow.
They could've ran, but didn't and paid everyone out their pocket.

It was a great team, and I'm glad they got out and are now enjoying retirement.

there have a been a few that did. they basically just made an announcement that they were going to retire, and told everyone they had a few weeks to finalize and withdraw all their funds. its rare, but only a few took that route.

I salute all those goats. they could've easily stolen hundreds of thousands if not millions. Clearly money wasnt their sole motivation.

@ this for too long to say in a pub forum. i am buying a new machine hardware and run tails from now on. Linux flavors only. I really liked
and had a very good experience with my people who fled Incog due to my core shops being active on both before "I" went down. This makes no sense to me from an LE or an exit standpoint. i just saw data and Abacus wasn't even in the top 7 markets in total revenue. they had good opsec and the only issue I had was that there were some entitled vendors, gifted fe early on and it put us in a corner. I never air dirty laundry in the comments. I work it all out like civil entities that can come to a compromise. This is sad and a joke. Abacus allowed me to use a good market with solid shops I've known for an epoch. Now I have to play games on Nexus which I have issues with, or go with an unknown market and trust the community. Any feedback would be valuable. I know what I need, have everything prepped, and get in and out asap. i never linger or repeatedly login to any market. I wish I would have been more of a variety store type user the last several months. Unless I know for sure that I see vendors who were being banned, open on other markets, FE sticky, 7-8 level+ 9-10 trust and been around a decade, it only makes sense that the Arch and abacus were done in a very slick manner by the disgusting LE. Only 5% of all seizures of any chems or earth meds in the US are a result of the markets. Let the borders open and keep things in the hand of gangland killers is not harm reduction. I had a precognitive dream that i woke up and people could use them ubiquitously with no concern as the govt gave up. Maybe its in a few years. DO NOT let the NWO co-opt the grey we live in and tinker with xmr.TOR is barely safe anyway.i have to use I2p and tails for real old school opsec on my end.too many telegrams, and deals and info leaked out of markets lately. it's not bloody instagram everyone . before B.H.O was president I spent 6 months researching this whole idea and white papers and opsec and the best way to learn from the sr ane sr 2 as well as Alpha failures.
