So i seen this on my INformed delivery, i know what vendor it came from. and this happened a week ago, so i cleaned house. but i have another package with a much larger ammount aswell on the way, that i ordered round the same time as the pack that is gettin held, it was supposed to be here yesterday or today, or yestereday, and the mailman left a form saying i owed money on postage. Do i accept it ? im pretty nervous and ready to just not accept it period.. what do you thinK?!

Put the notice the mailman left in your mailbox with the amount of postage due with the flag up. The mail man will take that money and give it to the clerk who will give him your pack. It will be delivered the next day. You don't have to talk to anyone at all, just leave it in the box with the money.

And if you ever want to mail a letter and don't have a stamp just leave the letter in the box with $.55 and the mail man will take that to the post office, give it to a clerk who will buy a stamp and put it on your letter. Easy shit man.

They would have had to have enough probable cause to hold a pack or get a warrant for it. The vendor must have made it really look like a legit pack maybe?

What ended up happening bro? Same thing happened to me. Although it doesn't show that way on informed delivery, it just stopped updating scans and I was sent a love letter from the postal inspector letting me know they're holding it because they think it's something illegal and that i have to claim it in 30 days.

It was from the US Postal Inspector Office. It came with 3 pieces of paper, one being the letter stating that they had reason to believe the package contained illegal stuff, came with thier seal on the top left corner, the second page was an excerpt from the Mail Manual explaining Mailability rules, and the third page was a black and white picture of the package they're alledging is mine.

No one signed the paper, there was no case number or reference number, they were just asking me to call them to claim the package within 30 days otherwise they would handle it in whatever way they seem fit.

The envelope was a white usps tri-fold letter envelope that had a label 400 tracking sticker on it and was addressed from the United States Postal Inspector office.
