HELP ASAP MARKET (RESTRICTED ACCOUNT AND FUNDS MISSING) : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets

I just make a $410 deposit to make a purchase on asap market and my funds were withdrawn the second they hit my account and I got a message from staff telling me my accounts been restricted and I need to make a .01 btc deposit on order to unrestrict my account and my funds will be returned including the .01 btc.. I always go on dark.fail and use the same link to login to my account and have never had anything like this happen in the past.. was this really staff? And will my funds really be returned if I make the deposit they're asking? Are they exit scamming? All of my messages and account history were also deleted as this happened.. I don't even have the money to deposit an extra .01 btc. What do I do?

That sounds a lot like you've been phished, mate. Did you verify the url you got from dark.fail, or did you just take the url and use it without verification? Are you sure the message was from a market mod, and not a phisher account? Accounts can look official but not be real.

Yes I verified it from dark.fail and I just went back to dark.fail logged in from a different link and created a support ticket and staff just responded saying to deposit .01 btc and my account will be restored but they will not give me a reason why it's been restricted

Well, bloody Hell, mate. That is completely horrid, to say the least. That's a small bit of change to have to deposit to get your coin back. Makes no sense to me why they would do this. Still another reason for me to not use ASAP.

One thing you might do is to make a post in /d/ASAP about this and see if you can get some attention that way. Be prepared for the post to be deleted and your account banned from ASAP sub, though.

Sounds like you were phished but ASAP has been doing weird shit lately. I can't say for sure if this is the case but darkfail clearnet site has been hacked before for 24 hours and it displayed phishing sites. To protect yourself, use darkfail's onion site instead of the clearnet site. You should never really trust any site without verifying yourself.

I've tried all 3 links and they all have the same support ticket from staff telling me to make the .01 deposit so it's not a pfishing site. Plus my btc deposit address is the same as it's always been

I'm trying to get a hold of them. I noticed there was a post saying asap got a new staff member last week and I guess it could've been him.. I messaged them asking if there was any way to fix it without depositing more money and told them it was my friends money, I was doing him a favor and he just responded with
"aww too bad then retard. thanks for your friends money. it's gone. good luck explaining that away."

I just sent him a dm. I really hope this can be resolved because this was my favorite and only market I've used in the last year or 2. And if it was my money out wouldn't be as bad but I spent an hour explaining how safe this market was to my friend only just to have this happen the first time he decides to use it & I really don't wanna tell him the money went missing

Its a phishing case, phisher.hijacker knows his password and withdrew immediately after the deposits. User might have created account from a phishing proxy and didn't change the password and pin after finding legit link.
