Appreciate you all

for btc-xmr you can use either Bisq, unstoppableswap or basicswap.

Once you have xmr, use retoswap instead of bisq.

The guy who told you to use those isn't giving you bad advice, they are all good services... They aren't the most beginner friendly tho. Easiest to use would be Infinity (go on kycnot[.]me to find links) swap btc to monero into a feather wallet, maybe do an internal hop then send it to the dnm.

kycnot me is a resource for finding non kyc services. pick one of the exchanges on there rated 8+ and you're gucci. Infinity doesn't require software, it's an onion site (less reliable than software solutions but easy for tails and good enough if your moving less than 10s of thousands.)

Yes they are not the most user friendly but at least there is no risk of having funds blocked/stolen. I can not guarantee the same for instant swap service even if some have good reputation.

All true. I would say a noob isn't swapping insane sums, and people have supposedly laundered 100s of millions through eXch... safe enough by dn standards.

Well, exch is done because of it.

Cake Wallet is the best, but it's for Android. You can use a tool like Genymotion (an Android emulator). Basically, you send crypto to your wallet on Cake Wallet—let’s say Bitcoin. Once the balance appears, there’s an option called "Swap." When you select it, it will ask for your Monero address. After that, it sends Monero to that wallet.
