my usb suddenly stopped booting from both boot and boot from pc. i got another 2 which is just working fine. when i tried to boot it from pc to check if the pc had any problem it showed the selected boot device failed . anyway i cann get the usb to work again its emergency please help than youn in advance

Please be clear of exactly what you need. You can boot another tails and use the admin password prompt in the advanced settings and go root and see what's on the other device. Tails usually uses 1000:1000 as the amensic user.

right now i booted another tails went to accessories>files> and use tails data. but i need to either shift the persistent volume completely or download and install new tails . but will i be able to copy the persistent data?

if your pc has 2 usb ports clone it from a useable stick or try another box with the stick which won't boot.
