Because it is terrible opsec. The exchange can see the wallet address that you are sending to and if it appears to be a known vendor or market they can lock you out of your account for suspicious activity. They can also report it to LE or LE can request the data.

Always use pgp to encrypt your shipping info. If you lose your pgp private key and have 2-FA enabled you will lose access to your account. Be sure to make a backup of your pgp key pair to a safe place.

Don't be penny wise and pound foolish. Pay the extra transaction fee and ALWAYS send to a third party anonymous wallet from any exchange and from there to market or vendor.
